This hotel was ok, but it left a lot to be desired in room atmosphere and service. Would not recommend this to others.

Very convenient to Gatlinburg strip but not close enough to hear all the noise. I would have liked a restaurant at the hotel, but knew that when I booked it. This hotel was an excellent choice for me. I am a recently widowed father of 2 small boys and this was a weekend getaway by myself. Though there were other families there, I was never bothered by any noise. The staff was kind and courteous, recommending dining in the area and other suggestions. The room was a little dated but very clean and comfortable, exactly what I was looking for. Overall, I gave this hotel high marks for their attitude and served. I really enjoyed my stay and recommend it to anyone looking for affordable accommodations in Gatlinburg.

We arrived early and the room was readied for us by the staff immediately without ANY complaints. At any time that we needed any assistance, the staff provided without fail the BEST service you could have wanted. The pool was clean, the rooms were clean AND smelled good, the staff very friendly, and the location was fantastic! We will definitely revisit the Mountain Side Inn!

Me and my husband really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! It is in an excellent location. It's just a short walk from the main strip in Gatlinburg. I have several pro's and con's. Pro's: Great location. The air conditioning is extremely cold, (which is a major plus for me and hubby!), the floors in the bathroom and sink area are heated. That was pretty awesome! The water pressure is really good too. Friendly staff. Con's: We had the room next to the pool. So, the gate to the pool was constantly slamming shut and you heard people yelling and water splashing even at 11 o'clock at night. There was no time restrictions on the pool. The bathroom is pretty small. The hotel is very dated. It could use a makeover! There was no breakfast of any kind, but they tell you that in the details. Would have been nice to have at least doughnuts and coffee maybe. However, we really enjoyed our stay. We had no problems with anything! When we first pulled up to the hotel, I was having second thoughts. But when we got to our room, I was pleasently pleased. For the money, we got a nice place to stay that was clean and friendly and very conviently located. We would definetely stay there again!

This was a great location to the Gatlinburg crowd and shops....close enough to walk but off the strip to gain some rest and quiet environment. For the price this was a great place to stay. Staff very nice.....

Needed a place to sleep for the night while driving thru town. Not a 3-star hotel. More like a 2-star or 2.5 star hotel compared to the Hilton I stayed at the following night. Yes, parking. Friendly father and son at front desk. Door to shower had water damage. Room was clean though. Thin sheets for bedding and pillows. Located within lots of walkable shops and dining.

As most of the hotels in Gatlinburgh this one is also very dated. 1970..... Heated bathroom Floor but rusted fixtures. Walking distance to everything.

The Mountain House was woonderful. The location was in and excellant location and the people were very friendly. The personel had great attitudes and really seemed to enyoy us visiting them. I want to think them for being so nice and the rooms were great. You are in walking distance of Gatlinburg'Tennesse and only five mile from Pigeon Forte. When I come back to this area I would stay at the same location.

It was very close to the strip which was what we were looking for. We arrived very late and the hotel made accomadations for us after they had closed for the night. We greatly appreciate it. The only complaint that we had was their pool was not heated & the hot tub was just a baby pool attached to their pool.

The bathrooms could use some updating, but good place to stay for the price; also a close walk to downtown. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would probably stay there again.

Was kind of nervous when we pulled up and saw the hotel from the outside. Was extremely pleased once we saw our room. Very attractive, lots of space, and very comfortable. The staff was very helpfull and couldn't have been nicer. Loved the location and intend to use the same hotel on our next visit.

Amid all the mayhem of Gatlinburg, this hotel has the perfect location. The staff were very helpful in giving me directions and recommendations for places to eat. The room was clean, staff was nice, shower was good and strong. Try the Pancake Pantry around the corner....yummy!
