What are your breakfast options?: In the hotel, we have a restaurant called Harrimans. During the winter months, a hot buffet breakfast is served from 7:30am-10:00am (most lodging reservations include the breakfast. If not included, guests can purchase it for around $15 per person). Year round, we also have the Grand Country Deli in the hotel, which serves various breakfast options (cold, hot, muffins, egg sandwiches, etc) from 6:00am-10:00am. Prices vary in the deli, but there are very reasonably priced options. There are also several restaurants within a mile or so that have breakfast.
What transport is available to get around?: There is a MOOver shuttle in the Mount Snow area. It provides free local shuttle service from the Grand Summit Hotel, into the towns of West Dover and Wilmington (center of town, local restaurants, markets, etc). To get to local places where the shuttle service does not go, or outside the local area like lakes, airports, there is a local taxi service called Buzzy’s Taxi.
What can I do nearby?: The most obvious attraction is the Mount Snow Ski Resort (open for Alpine skiing in winter and for mountain biking/hiking in the summer, plus a number of special events throughout the year- Brewer's Festival in September and Oktoberfest to name just a couple). In winter months, we also have several cross country touring centers, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and more in the area. In the summer, there is boating, fishing, hiking in the area. Year round, there is a movie theater, bowling alley, galleries, shopping/antiques and many restaurants.
Do you have internet?: We provide free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and in the guest rooms.
Do you provide parking?: We have plenty of parking at the Grand Summit Hotel for the guests of the hotel and at the Mount Snow resort. Parking here is free.
