The location. The manager and their practices.

We were greeted promptly and professionally. Check in/out was easy. The room itself was very clean and well equipped. The bed, bedding and pillows were okay, not bad but nothing to really compliment either. There's some highway noise but overall failry quiet. Shower head height and pressure were very good. Board games and puzzles are availble in the lobby and DVD's (and players) can be rented as well. Next door is the Ice Axe grill, a very nice pub/grill. The hotel's complimentary breakfast is the weakest part of it. There are frozen burritos, cold cereal, donuts, etc. Not enough to get you fueled for the day, but will tie you over for a bit. Overall we were pleased with the hotel and would consider returning to it if we went up there.

View/Attractions-With the Mt. Hood Inn being in the Cascade Mountain Range, you can't go wrong with the view from your room. More attractions than you'll probably have time for are within short driving distance. Pets-We took our yellow lab, and when they say pet friendly, they mean it. They provide clean up bags and a doggie guest book in the lobby too. Cleanliness/Staff-The rooms were cleaned very well every day (we stayed for four), and the maids don't try running you out each morning to clean your room. The jacuzzi room was clean and well maintained too, as was the entire inn. The front desk staff was always helpful. The continental breakfast was above average with a nice choice of beverages, cereals, fruits, pastries, and breakfast burritos too. Would we stay here again? You bet!

Very nice place to stay in Government Camp. Nothing. If you are looking for a comfortable, convenient location to Mt Hood Ski Resorts, look no further than the Inn at Mt Hood. It is a very nice place to stay and ski Mt Hood.

good location, very clean and quiet. The room was large and pleasant, just as they appear in the picture. A very nice place to stay. The staff was courteous and wanted to be helpful but were honestly oblivious to their surroundings. Mt. Hood Inn is the center of many outside recreational opportunities. The staff could not offer information on good hikes, or x country skiing, or differences in the downhill skiing options that surrounded the hotel. I realize that hotel staff people are not tour directors, but this staff was even clueless on where tourists could go to get info that they did not have. So get any information you may need ahead of time, (there are at least three or four major ski areas on the mountain in close proximity to each other) Dining is limited in the Mt Hood area as a whole. This hotel had a decent restaurant next door. All food everywhere was good to mediocre and a little pricey. The mountain is magical. A great vacation spot!

The Mount Hood Inn was rustic and very comfortable. Room was clean and staff was friendly. We were fortunate enought to catch to first snow of the season! The restaurant across the parking lot was cozy and the food was great! Enjoy your stay at this Inn!

Very nice staff. Nothing. Wonderful hotel. Everything was nice, the place was pretty quiet too (not many people around). There was a complementary breakfast, and they had several beverages available 24/7. We were supposed to check out at 11 a.m. but slept in, and they didn't seem to mind much that we left at 1 p.m.

This was a pleasant surprise. A beautiful hotel, a great location, and wonderful staff. The resturant next door has excellent food. Everything about this hotel was great.

It has been 20 years since visiting government camp. Mt. Hood inn has great location, comfortable, warm atmosphere. We were there for less than 10 hours. Arrived late, left early. The hotel was very satisfactory. It was clean, quiet, and easy to access. I would recommend it to family or friend. We attended a wedding at Timberline Lodge. We arrived at the Mt. Hood Inn at 11:45 pm and left by 9:00 am. There really wasn't much of an opportunity for us use or see the facilities.

Mt. Hood Inn was a very comfortable place to stay in the mountains. It was a good location and close to Timberline Lodge. Rooms were large and very clean. Many choices for a continental breakfast. The restaurant and pub located next door served a good meal.

Proximity to ski slopes is nice, and the lobby area is comfortable. This is a very good hotel for skiers on mount hood. It's right near the action and comfortable without the cost of a luxury lodge. The breakfast was pretty good, too. If the price is right I¿ll definitely stay there again.

The staff was very knowledgeable about the area. The continental breakfast was the best I have ever seen. For one hundred fifty dollars a night I expected allots more. A very nice hotel. Staff was very knowledgeable about the area. A very comfortable place to stay. Would I stay again? Not for one hundred fifty dollars a night. We were a bit disappointed; we expected more for the money we paid.

The staff was absolutely delightful. Games to check out, movies to rent and breakfast to boot. No pool. The Mount Hood Inn was a great place to stay. A wonderful restaurant located right in the parking lot, who could ask for more. The service was wonderful and the kids really enjoyed the games in the lobby (which could be brought to your room to play) along with the availability of DVD's to rent. I would most definitely recommend this place to others.

Clean, convenient location, courteous. No complaints. Mt Hood Inn is a clean, courteous and conveniently located hotel in Government Camp, Oregon. It is a mere 6 miles away from Mt Hood, where year around skiing and mountain climbing takes place. I highly recommend the Mt Hood Inn.
