Description:
An extremely high standard property which will interest those guests who are looking for all modern comforts and luxuries during their stay whilst enjoying a hotel that has maintained the appearance of being untouched by the modern age. (03/08rt) The hotel is an 18th century manor house and has changed very little in appearance. It is a large building of dark stone with gothic framework around window-sills and dark eaves. The Mount Falcon is set in secluded private parkland in the outskirts of Ballina on the Foxford - Ballina road (N26). It is approximately 3 hrs drive from Dublin, and hour from Sligo and 1.5 hours from Galway. Knock International airport is only half an hours drive away.

The Kitchen Restaurant, as its name suggests, is located where the original kitchen in the manor house used to be. Following the tradition of the world-renowned Mount Falcon Fishing & Country Estate, run by the legendary Connie Aldridge, founder of the Blue Book, diners will be offered a menu featuring the very best in quality, fresh, local organic produce. The restaurant is located on the ground floor, easily accessed from the main hotel foyer. The total seating area can accommodate 72 diners, with tables nestled around the original nooks and crannies of the original restaurant and pantry.Head Chef At Mount Falcon; Philippe Farineau.
