Motel 6 Hartford - Windsor Locks is a little further away from Hartford than the Motel 6 in Hartford itself. However, the trip is well worth it since Motel 6 in Windsor Locks is cheaper and seems much more professionally run. It is located right next to the airport, rooms are basic but well kept and clean.

The hotel was ideally situated near Bradley Airport, and the room was clean. I would only recommend the hotel for a place to sleep, not someplace where one would want to stay long term. They do offer the option of keeping your car for a week at the hotel. However, there was no security so we went to Executive Valet. We had to call for towels which were not in our room. They were very small. They left us with only two soaps, no other toiletries. A coffee maker would have been wonderful. It's an inexpensive hotel, so we didn't expect much. It met our needs as we arrived after dinner, and left early the next morning.

If you need a cheap place to stay near the airport, this could do, but it offers only the basics: bed, table, chair, soap, shampoo, heat. There is no clock, hair dryer, iron, coffee maker, or shuttle to the airport. The bedspread wins the prize for the ugliest I've ever seen, but I think it might be standard for Motel 6.

During our vacation we stayed at many hotels in New England, by far Motel 6 was the best. Clean, comfortable, best value for the money. We will definately stay at Motel 6 in the future. Staff was very friendly and helpful. When we checked out we let the manager know how much we enjoyed our stay and it was the best one we stayed in.

Windsor Locks Motel 6 was the perfect choice. Accessiblility to airport, Hartford, my family destinations, art/cultural opportunities,gas & convenience stores, many fast food/ restaurant options. Free coffee to get the day going was an excellent plus. In short, the driving time to resources, personal destinations, and savings in gas alone will continue to inspire many more stays for me at the absolutely best price!
