my family was here from Europe, and it was a little imbarassing that it was not clean. The shower was small, not clean, no shower gel or shampoo. The next day, the dirty towels were still on the floor, hairs in the sink. This is really not clean. But on the other hand, for this price, I think you cannot ask for much. But for my next trip, I rather pay more and go to another place.

Over all ok, but too close to the freeway.

I knew its location - far enough away from those annoying trains & their whistles than run through Flagstaff regularly - yet close enough to NAU where I visited my daughter for Family Weekend. I found it to be just what I needed, a comfortable place to rest between numerous activities and close to many great places to eat and shop. I was tired after work & driving up Friday night, so it was nice to meet just down the street @ The Olive Garden for a late dinner. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great place for quick in and out overnighter.

Every thing from staff, location, value for my money,,, just great. I found the hotel to be busy, but staff on hand at all times to keep place remarkably clean. I have stayed at other hotels where you can notice the wear and lack of effort to keep up. Room small but comfortable and clean. I will never stay in an expensive hotel in flagstaff again this was as clean if not cleaner. cleanliness is number one on my list and this was it.

This visit was perfectly accomodating for the type of stay we needed. Excellent location, low noise, great staff and quick late check in. Definitly would use hotel again.

The Motel 6 was one of the most lowest priced accomodations in Flagstaff for the Memorial Day W/E. This place need a remodeling desperately. It seem like they haven't painted the outside of the building; since it was built. The inside needs to re-modeled and fumigated. I told the desk about small flying insects. There response wwas that there has been no rain, so it couldn't be mosquitos; but they would look into it. They brag about having a pot of coffee in lobby during breakfast time. I am a tea drinker; and a small continental breakfast would have been nice. The bath towels were small and rough; almost like sand paper. There were no tissues or shampoo in the room. I would only return here again; if there were no reasonable accomodation during a holiday W/E. My suggestion would be to visit Flagstaff during the week; andd stay atleast at a 3 star lodging. As a I said in my Title; You get what you pay for. A plus for us; they accept dogs and it was away form the noisy rail road.

For my wife and me, a hotel/motel is pretty much just a place to spend our non-waking hours. We are not ones to actually spend my time in the room, however we do expect a comfortable bed and good room climate control, which we did have. The Motel 6 in Woodlands Village (Flagstaff, AZ) was clean and fairly well maintained, which is expected. We did encounter a plumbing problem with the toilet on the first night (resulting in an overflow), but this was resolved the next day -- no big deal. The towels were a little thin and small as well. No soaking tub -- merely a stall shower in a tiny space. There was not much space in the room itself, and we would have liked to have had drawers to put our folded clothes in. The only thing that was provided was open shelving space. The TV included was in terrible shape; most of the channels were viewable only as images seen through a snowstorm, and the two or three that did come in somewhat clearly had over-saturated and poor color. We can't understand why the reception was so bad, considering it was supplied via satellite/cable. It would have been nice to have had wireless internet service, but this was not a real necessity for us on this trip. Overall, our stay here was pretty much a mediocre experience. We've had better, but we've also had much worse!
