Good, just needs Iron and to clean the room not just make the bed, thin walls makes it noisy.

For the price it's not a bad motel.

Brief stay in Carpinteria. Good location; within walking distance to two shopping centers; not far from main downtown area and beach. Rooms are small, but clean. Would have liked coffee makers in the rooms; a couple more pillows; needed air-conditioning.

It was a clean and comfortable. We just need it for over night. We spend our time at the beach.

remodeled room; flat screen tv. plenty of electric outlets. only 1 nightstand, 1 small table, one chair, one built-in seat. No dresser or shelves. no door between toilet/shower area and sink/closet. footsteps and plumbing noises from upstairs. train noise. coffee 7am to 10am.

I really loved the room. It was extremely nice with the wooden floors, very modern like. The only down fall was that the bed was as hard as a rock.

Went to Bimmerfest the hotel was lacking alot of comfort and ammentities were none. this was the worst motel i ever stayed at.

The room had no table and one chair. Bathroom - small sink with room only for a bar of soap; no room for accessories. The room had wheelchair access, but lacked storage/desk space. This was apparently a relatively new handicapped room, but I would never stay in one like this again. Too Spartan! My comments only apply to the handicap room. Previous stays at this motel have been satisfactory.

I really don't like the new style of the remodel. Just not my taste, I guess. The laminate flooring and modern style made it seem cold and unfriendly. Paper thin walls, we had very loud neighbors throughout our stay, overhearing activities that should be private...(wink, wink) and four very loud 20-something boys on the other side. Not good for trying to sleep. But, the room was clean and a good price, and they allow dogs, so...it was okay overall.

Clean rooms. Cheaper one.

The motel 6 is correct regarding the price , but 1 weak points: The hotel is selling a wifi access card but the system was not working properly .(no real access with the code mentioned in the card , and no support from the hotel staff) . Need to spend a lot of time and call to an help center and need to modify a lot of settings in the PC. Dining options: nothing .

This was a very nice stay. I just always forget with Motel 6 to bring a hairdryer (it's the only hotel I know of that does NOT provide one), so that was a minor inconvenience. I love that they are pet-friendly - my dog had a great vacation! Close to Starbucks, pretty quiet area, overall nice. Wish they had a hot tub!

I needed a place to sleep in order to save myself a long drive after a long day and night event. I found the hotel to be just what I needed... nothing fancy, but clean and well taken care of. Check in was easy, staff friendly and the bed comfortable enough... Slept peacefully during the night, only hearing any real noise the next morning as other guests were leaving. Served my needs.

The run down condition and poor customer service were disappointing... especially for the jacked up price!

Carpinteria South's Motel 6 was clean and reasonably priced. I only marked that I was 'somewhat dissatisfied' with the staff because the girl at the front desk was polite to us, but didn't seem to know how to check us in. I don't know if she was personally having a bad day or if she hadn't been trained on how to process a split bill. Overall, I would stay there again if I had any need to visit Carpinteria/Santa Barbara and I hope the Motel prospers.

This motel is alot cheaper than staying in Santa Barbara. But dont expect anything you will be disapointed.

The Motel six S.B. Carpenteria were good accomodations for the price. The room was clean, it was in a nice area of town, and although it had a pool I did not use it. Everything was clean, nice staff, the motel was kept up. The only thing was only 1 towel in the bathroom. Other than that it was fine.
