I asked for a non smoking room but the room we got was even burned with cigarrettes (the corner of the tv)

Upon checking in we realized how near by SIX FLAGS was, less than a mile!!! The rooms were decent, the towels were small, no fridge, no micro, very basic, but we weren't there for the room, it was six flags we enjoyed. Go with children, great animal park, only 5 rides for big kids.

The bed was really hard and needless to say my boyfriend and I woke up with sore backs. There was a biker convention that had biker's staying at the hotel playing music extrememly loud throughout all hours of the night and shouting and talking loudly. It was very noisy. It was hard to sleep due to the noise and uncomfortable bed. The comforter had cigarette burns in it and the pillows had stains visible through the linens. The pillows were very flimsy and obviously very old. The room smelled like a huge ashtray although it was labeled a non-smoking room. Then in the morning those bikers woke us up very early with more loud music and shouting. It was ridiculous. My boyfriend and I had stayed there to go to discovery kingdom the day after our stay and that hotel stay left us both in a bad mood with aching backs as well. Also the hotel advertised a microwave and refirigerator in the room and when we got there neither was provided. There was also no hairdryer. I will never stay in this hotel ever again.

While staying at this hotel there was many children playing out in the pool after pool hours being very loud and disrespectful. The bathroom walls were stained of brown and yellow. Maid service looked as if they only made the beds. The room however was a nice sized room if it would have been cleaned better it would have made the experience a lot better. The staff weren't unfriendly but they weren't all that friendly either. Anytime that I went in there they were busy talking with friends or on the phone with obvious personal phone calls. It shows that the management either doesn't care about how the hotel is ran or just doesn't pay that much attention. It was uncomfortable walking to and from my car with my 3 children with me. The nights that I was there I was constantly checking on my car because of all the people you can hear hanging out in the parking lot. The only nice thing about the stay at this hotel was it was only about 1 mile from Marine World which was the purpose of my trip. I would not recommend my family or friends to stay there. The only persons that I would recommend to go there would be the health inspector and the police. It was not a comfortable stay.

Though the Motel 6 in Vallejo was located close to Marine World, the clientel were less than charming. The neighborhood was seedy. The staff at the check-in were wonderful and very helpful. The maids did not make the beds and did MINIMAL cleaning. I will not stay there again.

The place was ok, quite clean, except that there was a general smell of mustiness in the room. But the location was beside a 24 hour Denny's and some other dining options. Reception was friendly and efficient.

The room I stayed in at the Motel 6 Vallejo, CA/Fairgrounds was clean and had the basics. The bathroom was clean with the basics. The motel recently completed a remodel of all the rooms, I understand and it looks like it. The spread on my queen-size bed may not have been new and had a cigarette burn or two in it. The room itself did not smell of smoke which was good. The motel was easily accessed off the freeway, but the street leading to the motel was quite a busy one. Although the parking lot was full of cars at night, I heard no noise from other occupants. If you're looking for a centrally located motel with clean rooms with basic amenities, that's a good bargain for your dollar, stay here. The motel itself had no eating facilities, but moderately-priced restaurants were nearby, one national-wide chain was within a short walking distance.

This room was in a good location for dining. It was easy to access from the freeway, and was a good value
