This is a nice place to stay for cheap if you are going to Santa Barbara. It is like 10 minutes away from SB, it's right off the freeway, and it is right next to food, walgreens, and even a bowling alley. The rooms were clean and looked nice for a Motel 6. The room wasn't stinky, which is always a plus!

It was a nice room and location, but the pool was under construction so that kind of put a damper on things, especially because that's one of the reasons why I choose to stay there. There was no mention of the pool being out of service which was not so cool! But the room was really nice! awBare of Dominos Pizza the get your orders really wrong! e

Attended granddaughter's graduation from UCSB. Room very clean and nice. Could use door to separate tub and sink area so 2 people could use area. Plenty of eating places very close.

We were visiting a student my grandaughter. Enjoyable stay and better than laxt visit staying at .Motel 8.

The hotel boasted that it had recently been renovated. This was not apparent, the rooms were basic and still rather shoddy. The hotel is next to a local bowling hall and juvenile hang out spot.It felt unsafe. It also is on a very busy street It was noisy and somewhat disconcerting. I would say that it is Okay value wise , but I would not recommend this motel due to the location.

The motel is very old and showing it's age. The bathroom (shower) towels were very small and only one in the room when we checked in. Considering everything in Santa Barbara area is expensive, I felt for what we got was also expensive.

I was scared to death the whole time. Paper thin walls, parties and shady looking guys loitering late at night. I wanted to leave and find another hotel for the night but found that the area was booked up. Will never stay at a Motel 6 again.....EVER!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We needed more pillows and they went out of their way to get what we needed. They were friendly. Although the room was small, it was very comfortable and had the amenities needed for a short stay. The room was kept clean and fresh for us.

Everything nearby is more expensive so it is a bargain if you compare it with rooms over 200.00, but as with other Motel 6's, no amenities at all - no shampoo, very little room to even walk in your room, and as bare of essentials as you could get. I don't recommend it if there are any deals to be had anywhere else. On the plus side- it is relatively close to UCSB and to Goleta Beach and it does have a pool if the weather is nice.

the room next to me was used as a party room. The party started about 12 midnight. Staff did not help in keeping down noise. Also a prank call was put throughto my room at about 12 midnight.

The hotel was clean and very easy to get to. Located near great grocery stores, fast food and some nice dining, the hotel was a great value. Take your own creature comforts such as lotions, shower gel, soaps etc. This was a good hotel to stop in at...to sleep. Super location for UCSB Moms and Dads who need to save money becasue their kids are in college.
