The rooms were adequate. They were just as stated-no more, no less. The laundry was very reasonable and in good working order. Morning coffee was provided, but that was all! The room was clean. The staff was friendly. It was sufficient for our needs. I guess you get what you pay for.

We were very impressed with how nice the hotel was. The only issue we had was that the internet access code wouldn't work which wasn't Motel 6's fault. My husband spent quite a bit of time on the phone with the toll free number on the access code card but they were never able to help him get on line. Motel 6 refunded our money since we never were able to get online.

The Motel 6 in Portsmouth is located close to everything. Just off the highway and shopping is only a short walk and restaurants are nearby.

This hotel should be an embarrassment to the Motel 6 chain! At check-in, the gentleman was curt, rude and very unfriendly. When we asked for the approximate distance to a NEARBY town, he replied with an unhelpful...I don't know you can ask at a gas station! The hallways had a highly unpleasant ODOR and the rooms, we had two connecting, were musty and dull. There were NO clock radios,NO hairdryers, NO lotions, shampoos or other amenities, NO spare pillows or blanket,and NO iron/board so if you happened not to bring any of those items, you were forced to find a store that carried them. The pool was equal to the size of a puddle, the TV audio was terrible and the beds and pillows were uncomfortable and flat! The linens in the bath were yellowish-brown and there were no tissues provided. Bascially, when you are unlucky enough to stay at this Motel 6, you are NOT getting a single thing outside of a place to rest your head! Our advice...sleep in your car! One GOOD point, the location was ez-on ez-off.

only problem was gps was off on directions, I asked about it and they said others had told about this problem, had to go round and round to find location. It was great otherwise.

The Motel 6 Porthsmouth NH was barely acceptable. The bathroom was very cramped,no tissue.Furnishings were funtional but very poor quality.Bottem of the scale for accomadations.

The Motel 6 Portsmouth (NH) was perfect for my needs - a clean, comfortable room with all of the basics that one would expect (but nothing fancy). It was easy to find, conveniently located near a large mall, movie theatres, and many restaurant options. The staff were very friendly and accomodating.

The Motel 6 in Portsmouth was a very nice, comfortable stop over for us. The room was in great shape and very clean. The bathroom was very clean although there was no hair care items. This wasn't an issue as we had our own and I'm sure if we had called the front desk we would have easily been provided with what we needed. There were many restaurants and 2 shopping malls as well as many other shops nearby, most within walking distance.

Motel 6 located in Portsmouth, NH is a nicely situated motel. For anyone who likes to shop it is located right across from 2 shopping malls. This motel was undergoing renervations while I was there so at times the hallways got a little messy and crowded, but the staff was very pollite and courteous to all guests throughout. The rooms were well maintained and nicely cleaned. This motel does not feature a workout room but it does have an outdoor pool. I would recommend this Motel 6 to anyone looking for a clean, efficient and no frills motel.
