Motel staff very friendly, and helpful. Areas were well lit and accommodations were reasonable for the price.

I needed a cheap room to sleep a few hours before getting back on the road. I checked in at 3:00AM with no difficulty. The room was clean and did not smell of room deodorizer, like many cheaper motels do. The bed was comfortable and quiet. Perfectly fine for a roadside rest stop.

The Motel 6 in Branford was better than I expected. The room was clean with great water pressure in the shower. The hotel lacked an iron and ironing board in the room, and didn't have a business center or computer in the lobby to check e-mail, etc. It's in a great location close to the highway and a movie theatre, but not many dining options within walking distance. If I was staying in the area, I would stay there again.

The staff was very friendly and helped us unwrinkle our clothes due to the fact that no irons are available. Towels are slightly larger than washclothes.

The Branford Motel offered good, clean accomodations at an excellent price, and would be very good for a short term stay. It is located right off the exit to I-95, and was convenient for me to get to New Haven. The room and bath were both very clean. The room had the basic accomodations -- a table and chairs and tv, but no clock. Good thing I could use my cell phone for the time and as an alarm! The desk staff was pleasant, but other staff members standing around the desk when I arrived were using vulgar language (the desk manager did speak to them about that). The staff was very friendly, however, and quick to give directions to nearby attractions. There are no amenities, so this motel is best for a short stay by the budget traveler.

The price is great! We were in town for a softball tournament and the location to the complex is excellent. I loved the bath tub, huge! Cleanliness was average for a Motel 6. However, there is not much in the town. Also, when we were sleeping the headboard fell off! We looked at it and it had been glued to the wall. Very nice little cafe attached to the motel. Overall for the price I would stay again!

The Motel 6 in Branford, CT is a safe, clean no-frills location for business travelers. It is right off I-95...easy on and off, the staff was efficient and friendly, the room was clean and my wake-up call arrived as requested (with a cute message from Tom Bodett, himself). Rooms are accessed from an indoor hallway, offering another layer of security for female travelers. Cleanliness ruled. This was a relief as sometimes budget motels seem to skimp by not hiring housekeeping staff! Not the case here! Several restaurants are located in the immediate vicinity, offering a variety of meal choices at resonable prices. Check out Rita's for ices and ice cream from the friendliest people in town! The decor is simple, a little bright yet boring...but for the price, who care! Note, neither a clock nor hair dryer were provided. Motel 6 offers a clean, comfortale, safe place to sleep. Can't ask for more than that.

I was very pleased with the people that worked at this Hotel. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. I was disappointed that they don't have at least a refrigerator in the room. It would have also been nice if they had a microwave, but I think a refrigerator would have made it easier for me. I was pleased the area around the Hotel was a good area and convenient to stores and eating places. I was there for the Special Olympics Softball tournament and it was only a 15 minutes drive to get to the fields. The girl that was on the desk when I checked in was very helpful with giving us directions. The room was pretty clean, but I did notice that there was some stuff that should have been picked up with a vacuum.
