Stayed here instead of Santa Cruz because thought would be better value for money - it was not.

When we arrived the room was clean but we had to wait an extra hour for clean towels and I have two children covered in sand in desparate need of a bath. Also their venting system sucks so if you have a non smoking room your bathroom stinks heavily of smoke. I will not go back to this Motel 6 or any others for that matters.

WE were not at the hotel much. The staff was curteous, rooms were clean. We had a problem with bathroom light out when we checked in, but it was handled within 2 hrs. We stayed for a week and they were good about cleaning the room. Only other problem I had was room keys had to be changed a lot. Part of the problem could have been our fault as you are not supposed to have them by credit cards or cell phones, but it did seem like they were overly sensitive. Overall, I was happy with our stay.

The room was ok for what we needed. Just a bed. No irons, no mini fridge but it did have a comfortable bed. The check in person was very slow, loud and talking with others while take her sweet time checking us in, and later we found out she was the manager. (Go figure.) The pool was clean, when we called for more pillows we did get them in a reasonable time and with a smile. So if looking for just a bed, then stay here. The price is right.

At time of check in one of the individuals left to do something while there was a line of people waiting to check in. That left only one person to do the check in which lot a very long time for this. The other individual never returned to assist with checking people into thier rooms. Once in our room we called dowm for additional pillows and towels. They arrived in our room very much at a later time and they only gave us one pillow and two towels. Guess they could not spare any more. We were not satisfied with this service at all. The price was right but the service was not acceptable. Next time we will spend the money if that means we will receive better service.

The Motel 6 in Watsonville was clean and in good shape, and had several restaurants close by. It seemed expensive for a Motel 6, but I guess it was cheap compared to other motels along the California coast

i thought the room was clean and comfortable, but wished i could have had access to an iron since i was on a business trip and needed my clothes ironed. i was uncomfortable with the people loitering around the hotel, it made me feel that i wasn't safe.

We had no wash cloths, very few towels, and when we asked for an extra pillow we were told they didn't have any.......it was Sunday night and the motel was not full. The staff was very friendly but still be did not have necessities.

Motel 6 was in a very good location that is only a walking distance away from dining areas and the theater. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Room is clean and decent. Great value for overnight stay during weekdays.

The hotel seemed very noisy on Friday 5/25 until we found out there was a fly-in air show at the Watsonville Airpport that weekend, and Pirates of the Carribbean had just opened at the cinema across the street that day. Saturday 5/26 was quieter, although the cinema still drew a pretty young and raucous crowd that hung out in the parking lot till late. Otherwise the room was decently clean and the maid service good. We thought it was really strange that the toilet had no seat cover, since the vanity was located outside the bathroom and there was no place except the tub rim to place anything. There were plenty of restaurants nearby as well as supermarkets and drug stores. Access to Highway 101 both north and south was very convenient. We would consider staying there again since it was so close to both Santa Cruz and Monterey.

Cheap, adequate accomodations. Small room. Only one person on duty at night and there was a plumbing emergency he couldn't deal with since he couldn't leave the desk. The parking lot looked like there were thugs hanging out. Although the room was non-smoking, the drapes and bed quilt had a smell of cigarettes, probably because they'd been in a smoking room and cleaning was unable to remove that offensive smell. However this did appear to be an above average Motel 6.

It appears the motel now rents rooms to long-terms tenants as if it were an apartment building. These tenants are located in rear of the building. Upon checking out, we witnessed some young men drinking in the parking lot and urinating in the planters! There are vehicles parked there that have not been moved in months (apparent by the spider webs and flat tires) yet the vehicle posts a tattered sign that stated this vehicle belongs to room 107. Obvious a long-term tenant. I also spotted a cockroach at night in the room. We will not be staying there again. Unfortunate because the location is great.
