Starting at 8 a.m. there was there was NO hot water. By 9 a.m., still not even warm. The manager, once located, denied it first, then said it was due to the maids doing laundry b/c they were so busy. (He even insisted this was standard hotel practice). The attitude projected toward us was indifferent and condescending. Even his apology,after 3 conversations, was riddled with sarcasm. Add to that the hard beds. I've traveled all over, and stayed in many hotel, never had to have a cold shower. Oh, and the maids? As we left the parking lot we could clearly overhear them distastefully discussing the prior nights guests.

Very reasonably priced for the Eureka Springs area. The room was very clean and was kept that way during our stay.

The Motel 6 in Eureka Springs had an excellent view of the Ozark forest. I would stop there, because compared to the motels/hotels in that town, most had breakfast and hot tub/pools. In fact, after one night's stay, I cancelled my second night at Motel 6 and was able to book a stay at one of the independently owned motels AT THE SAME PRICE, after negotiations. The motel I stayed in for Friday and Saturday nights had all the ammenities Motel 6 was missing. Granted, Motel 6 is a budget motel, but in a town like Eureka Springs where motels are everywhere, you can get a better deal elsewhere.
