I plan on writing to Motel 6 myself. I booked my sister there for three nights also. I want a refund on my sisters room (she was there when the 4:30 am fire alarm went off and the building was evacuated. Some meth head ran down the hallway setting off the alarms. As for my husband and I, it was our honeymoon. Too many bad experiences without it even being a special time. We feel very ripped off.

When i entered my room it stunk like a ash tray. Had to open all the windows.. Since we stood over for 2 nights i ask if the maid would skip our room and to have a do not disturb sign and the person behind the desk told me they don`t have a sign and write a note on your door. And good luck with that cause mostly all the cleaning people don`t read english..I was shocked how he said it. His attutude was disgusting.. Had to ask for towels and pillows.. This put a damper on our trip.. The place really was one step up from a dump. If u could avoid this place do it. The Staff and rooms are not even worth the low price.

The Motel 6 Boston-Danvers was not a friendly place to stay. We had called when on our way there to get specific directions but the woman who took our call was the only person there and she was unable to give directions even though we were only 1 mile away. There was a small crowd of rough looking people out front when we arrived at 10:30 PM. I was concerned about parking my car there. Nothing happened but the image was not what I expect when I travel and in fact this was the first time I had experienced such a thing. Since I used to live in Danvers I was shocked at this. The person at the counter was not happy to see us and told us she could not check us in as she was Off the clock. She eventually did check us in after calling another male employee who was apparently in charge and who was not at the desk. We were left holding our bags for several minutes. The entire place seemed run down and bare. I guess that you have to expect such things when the rate is low but...you asked. Tom Bodet says We'll leave the light on for you and that is nice and folksy but maybe he should put a lampshade on it so things don't seem so threadbare.

The Danvers Motel 6 was clean and cofortable. Although somewhat sparsely furnished, the room was large with a table and chairs. The bathroom was quite adequate for a short stay, although there was not much rrom to put personal items near the sink area. The pool was fine. The adjacent restaurant was very nice, the food excellent. The location was convienient to the highway and easy to find.

Pleasant & helpful staff. Easy check in & check out.The hotel is accessible from the freeway, & in a safe neighborhood which for a woman traveling alone is important. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

A place to spend a night, nothing more, nothing less. Just right for the money.

The Motel 6 in Danvers left something to be desired. The bathroom floor looked to be new, but joints looked unfinished and improperly sealed. The toilet seat was loose or broken. Other than bed, table, night stand, and TV, the accommodations included cheap bath towels, soap, toilet paper, and phone. I would have expected tissues and an alarm clock. The room was not thoroughly cleaned as I found hair in the bathroom, a previous occupants dirty laundry in the dresser, and a tissue (obviously not a hotel tissue) inside the bedding. The check-in staff was friendly, but failed to provide the requested wake-up call. As a need a place to crash for a night hotel, it was acceptable, but I would certainly not recommend it for extended stays or if you expect any quality or amenities. I stayed here because it was relatively easy access to downton Boston without a Boston price. I would stay in the Danvers area again, but not at this Motel 6.

The rooms are big and comfy. The toilet backed up twice in the 3 day stay. They have laundry facilities and no laundry soap Not something I usually travel with. No small amenities other than bar soap. Staff was extremely nice and pleasant and the hotel itself was pretty clean. It served the purpose. Travel to eat or shop is kind of a pain due to location.

The Motel 6 Boston-Danvers was very comfortable, the room seemed much larger than most with a desk area and a table and a chairs. The location was very good -- it was close to where we wanted to go and there was a great Italian restaurants in front of the motel.

Clean room with the option of not having my room cleaned to keep my pet from being scared. I did have my room maintained and was quite satisfied. The pool was was operating at a nice temperture and had access to an outdoor sitting area. Coffee was available in the lobby in the morning.
