This hotel was a good value for a short stay. It includes a small pool that is well kept and a great mom and pop hamburger/ breakfast restaurant a short distance away.

Its a good place to drive up at night and stay for a night or two. its close enough to the mountain resorts to be convenient for early morning ski session. Rooms not great but you get what you pay for.

Me and my 2 kids stayed on 2 beds (no room for a roll-away in this room). Skiing was great and we just zonked out when we got back. I only wish they had bath tubs, my but realy hurt.

Big Bear Lake Motel 6 I'm familiar with Motel 6's no frills accommodation. I expected it to be fairly spartan: a small room, with a bathroom and a television. That's it and that would have been ok by me. But I didn't expect the room to be dirty. The floor, especially in the bathroom, was absolutely disgusting. Big Bear is gorgeous though and I'd like to enjoy it without spending a fortune on a motel room. But I'll be more selective next time.

It seems all the Motel 6s have been refurbished. I never expect much from Motel 6, just the basics and a good price. But, the newely refurbished bathrooms and rooms are really nice. It seems as if the motel staff is trying harder too. Our room was made up very nicely both times we stayed. A good business model, value and cleanliness goes a long way as far as I'm concerned.

The Motel 6 Hotel was good enough for the money that I paid. For a weekend stay it is very covenient. For a longer stay maybe I'll choose something with more amenities,larger room and better location.

ONLY REASON i WOULD NOT RECOMEND TO A FRIEND IS BECAUSE THEY WOULD PREFER A BETTER HOTEL MAYBE 4-5STAR, BUT I WAS VERY SATISFIED FOR THE MONEY
