This hotel was really difficult to find the first night. The road that it is located on is very long, however, once we found the hotel things were ok. It is located really close to a lot of resturants and fast food places, and the rooms were clean. Unfortunatly, the bed was rock hard and the train woke me up eveytime it drove by (during the night)Great place for the money if you're not noise sensitive.

The staff was not very friendly or helpful at all. We were new to the area and asked the front desk to call a cab for us they instead gave us a phone # for a cab company in SACRAMENTO! We called the front desk again and asked for a local cab co. they tried to give us the same one so we got on google and found one on our own. I also asked the front desk while staying there if they would put a letter in the mail for me that I had paid postage for and they told me no, and didn't give me any help finding a local post office. Overall the hotel was decent but the staff was not helpful and even rude at times.

We stayed in Auburn as a junction between our home in the bay area and Lake Tahoe. The next morning we drove just over an hour to the Northstar ski resort. It seems several other guests at this motel were planning the same trip. The motel is quite convenient near a Nob Hill, Starbucks, Denny's, a bagel store. The motel was clean. The room was quite compact but comfortable enough for a couple or single.

This Motel 6 was very clean and had very pleasant customer service. There is a Starbucks about 2 minute drive away and a Denny's right across the street. There are other fast food options in the vicinity and the hotel is right off of I-80 so for the basic needs, it is quiet convenient. There is no elevator so people with disabilities who may need an elevator should definately ask for a 1st floor room or stay elsewhere. I would recommend this hotel for a budget traveller who needs a friendly clean place to stay without any frills. I will stay here again next time I am in the area.

I have stayed at Motel 6 in several different locations and have never been in one this nice. One of the features that impressed me the most was that you could only access your room from the inside(through the lobby),which is a security not available at most other locations.Apart from this the staff was great, the rooms were clean, and the rooms came with a mini-fridge and microwave.

It was well priced, well situated, had fridge, microwave, pool. Restaurants nearby. Friendly, helpful staff. I would stay there again.
