For a Michigan football weekend this place is cheap, but you don't have to sacrifice the level of cleanliness

Room was clean - but beds are very, very uncomfortable.

The TV, phone, air conditioner (either was on high or not at all) did not work and there was no hot water. The room was clean and the people were helpful but without the simple requirements I would never return.

Although the motel was outdated, it was clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower was great, plenty of hot water with a good stream. Unfortunately, we were staying at this motel at the same time as a very LARGE group of children who were participating in the Junior Olympics for the week. The group was largely unsupervised and they were wild and out of control. We had to ask them more than once to not sit on our car. They were running around, making noise well past 11:00 pm. Plus they left lots of trash around the area. On our last night there, the children were gone and the atmosphere was much better.

I was leary of the Motel 6 name, but found it clean, safe and convenient. The check in was easy. the room was cleaner than most hotels.

All I needed was a place to sllep for 7 hours and Motel 6 served this pupose.

Very no frills.... but I knew that going in. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. The price is right if you just need a place to sleep.

In town for Univ. of Michigan football game. Convenient location with clean rooms, but this is definitely a no frills room. No Shampoo, conditioner or liquid soap. With the current regulations in airport security, I've come to rely on hotels to supply these little amenities. If you plan to spend most of your waking hours away from your hotel room, and just need a safe, clean place to sleep this hotel will do just fine.

Motel 6 is a no frills motel, but was very clean, reasonably priced for the location, and close to shopping (Briarwood Mall) and restaurants. The motel staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be that there was no hairdryer or iron, which is a necessity when I travel.

We don't usually choose this chain, but due to events going on in town we had a limited selection. We were pleasantly surprised at the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the room. It was definitely a no-frills place, but a clean room and a comfortable bed is all we were looking for on this trip.
