Great location one block off 5th Avenue's tony boutiques. Close to all subway lines 4 blocks away from Grand Central. Fantastic staff, great decoration. The only thing was the TV was snowy when I stayed there. But who watches TV on a trip to NYC. Love the iPod setup. All in all a great hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff. The bathroom was very small. The room was nice and clean. The only drawback was the small size of the bathroom. The modern design would not be for everybody but we liked it.

Hotel Staff was a sweet!!!! No words to tell TLC with this Team. I came out of a shoulder surgery in a nearby Hospital and did my recovery at this hotel since I am out of town. This team is by far second to none!!!! may many other hotels be able to claim such a tem work and TLC towards its guests!!!

Hip design, friendly staff, comfortable beds. No ice machines. Very cool boutique hotel, great breakfast included. The suites are especially nice. 4th floor open with comfortable sofas and nice LCD televisions for relaxing outside of room.

The location of the hotel was great. There was no large lobby which made it feel more like coming home at the end of the day. The restaurant food and drink prices were very high. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a 1 bedroom suite which was very large. The only downside was the small and non functional bathroom.

This is a hotel which has seen its heyday 15 years ago. Service, staff, cleanliness is still fine but for the cost of the room I expected much more. The hotel looks gloomy and tired, in great need of a facelift. The restuarant for breakfast was very nice.

The customer service was excellent. Price is high for what you get. The customer service at the hotel was outstanding. The location was great. The price is too high for what you get, there are really very few amenities. The price on Priceline is okay, but would not pay the regular price.

The location was amazing. We were not told there would be a $150 hold on our credit card for each night by the hotel. Was not happy when we found out the hotel held per night on our credit card. We ended up spending time on the phone with our bank disputing the charges.

The staff was very nice. The sheets felt like plastic. The living room area was an excellent addition to the hotel but the rooms were small and seemed a little cramped with a poor view.

Location. Clean, spacious for NYC. Friendly staff. Nothing. Perfect location on a quiet stretch of Madison Ave. Perfect sized room for my weekend getaway but would be fine for a week+ as well. Clean, spacious room for NYC. Young, in-the-know, friendly, accommodating staff. Would definitely recommend to friends, colleagues and would return in a heartbeat.

Cool boutique hotel. Great check in person. Very small lobby, but that's not important. The original boutique hotel lived up to it's name. Great check in person gave me an upgrade to an awesome room. Great decree in room.

Luxurious, superb staff. The hotel is lovely, clean and luxurious. The staff is expertly trained and courteous, well equipped to handle any problem.

The design was wonderful, details made the rooms luxurious, calm in the colors, and textures. Very comfortable overall. Friendly, helpful, and smiling. The closet doors in the room were hard to handle. Creative interior design, comfortable, and generous. With a great view, and a window that opens! The staff was helpful, and nice.

The size of the room. Great hotel and Bar. Rooms are awesome.

The location. Small, cramped & loud. Although the room rate was very reasonable. They located me on a smoking floor, in a smoking room. I had no choice and when asked if they could switch rooms I was told no! The room was small and it reeked like stale cigarettes. The room faced Madison Ave and street noise was very loud. The A/C unit was loud and I hardly slept. The bathroom was extremely small. It was impossible to wash your face in the sink without soaking the floor. The bathroom floor was painted concrete. Parking cost $50 a day. Overall not a good value or pleasurable stay. Do Not Recommend this Hotel!

The location was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was great and the location was perfect for shopping and nightlife. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The restaurant was great and a true NY experience and the hotel made it easy to charge our meal to the room. The room was clean, very neat and had everything they said it would.

The location of the hotel was good near the central terminal station. The breakfast was OK. The hotel room was too small with no useful window (the window opens at the back of the elevators!). Breakfast starts very late for business traveler. Overrated. The smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. The furniture was more of a 3 star hotel. No view from the window as it opens to the back of the elevators. Staff get irritated with any inquiry. Breakfast starts at 7 and no coffee in the room. The common room is closed at 6am so I had to leave and buy my coffee across the street as I had a meeting at 7am.

Price. Star level and breakfast wasa joke. Price is good. Breakfast content was goofy.
