The hotel was charming. I loved the fact that it wasn't a corporate hotel. The staff was wonderful - attentive and friendly. Our room was part of a building near the main hotel. This building contained apartments as well as our rooms. This is a great place to go if you want to be in the downtown area of Albany. A bed and breakfast feel, yet some privacy. Loved the staff, our room and the garden. Near some great restaurants. Also near the park and some questionable areas of town. Great for a quick stay or if you need a short-term apartment.

Staff was friendly & helpful. They were able to upgrade our reservation at no extra cost., and a bottle of cold champagne was waiting for us. The room was delightful with fireplace & a view of the park. We could not have celebrated our 45th Anniversary in a better location.
