What transport is available to get around?: The best way to travel in the north of Scotland would be by car. There are plenty of hire companies in Inverness.

The nearest airport is 60 miles away in Inverness. There is a limited bus service that runs twice a day from Inverness to Ullapool but the times do not always coincide.
What can I do nearby?: As for entertainment, we do not usually have anything on at The Morefield motel on a regular basis. But in the centre of Ullapool there are varied establishments that usually have live entertainment. There is also the Macphail centre which holds shows of varied sorts throughout the year.
