my husband and i stayed at moorpark for almost 3 weeks April to May 2007 for a business trip. We were very impressed when we first stepped into the hotel. The room is very nicely decorated. The receptionists are all very sincere and helpful. Because we were there for such a long time, they sent us a little gift, offered a microwave when we mentioned we missed home cooking. there are other little things they offered which made the stay very pleasant. although they offer free breakfast, i didn't fully utilize due to lack of variaties. other than that, we enjoyed the stay very much.

This hotel offers very spacious rooms. Although, you are in essentially a strip mall, the hotel manages to make the pool area very private and nice. Service was excellent. Location is a great alternative if you are in downtown San Jose for business and can't find a place to stay downtown. Location is 10 mins from downtown.

The service was terrible. The staff was unable to help us in almost everything that we needed help with and there was not really a bussiness center thing they have only one computer and did not work. I am not sure how it got such a good reviews on your site.

We were attending a school reunion, and stayed a night in this hotel. Clean, well situated, friendly staff and a setting that exceeded our expectations. The room is big enough, with everything from an iron and hair dryer to bath robes and mini bar. We did not use the pool or the facilities, but they looked great. Would come again and recommend to anyone!

Staff was very friendly. Felt like it could be unsafe at night. Hotel is easily accessibly from the highways. The public areas are modern and the room was fairly spacious. The pool table was a nice touch. Plenty of parking available except around dinner time as the lot is shared with Tony Romas. Underground parking was convenient but there didn't seem to be cameras for safety.

The staff was really friendly and helpful.. The beds are comfortable and big.. The colors of the room makes you feel warm and peaceful, just right.... The freeway 280 is not really far away. The next day we took the freeway and in a few minutes we were at the airport... Stay here.. You are going to enjoy your stay..

Great bed, very friendly and helpful staff, clean, beautiful linens. I can't! I was very favorably impressed with this facility. My daughter and son-in-law own a winery in Campbell and were having a gourmet dinner at the Culinary Institute, just a short way from the hotel. I told everyone what a nice hotel the Moorpark is and that I will stay there again.

It was a pleasure staying at this hotel. The staff was friendly and very courteous, the room was clean and spacious and I loved the underground parking. I will definately stay at this hotel again on my next trip to San Jose. I also loved the fact that Tony Roma's and Applebee's were within walking distance.

Nice lobby with a warm inviting fireplace and a pool table upstairs for a casual activity. It is located on a busy street so your view is the parking lot. Very service oriented hotel. We were not asked whether we wanted a room with 2 queen beds so we were not pleased when entered our room. We immediately called the front desk for a change - a room with a king bed. So the only rooms available with a king was for handicap guests. So we accepted and moved. The room was okay but we could hear the pool table. The registration experience set the tone for our stay. We did not feel the hotel deserve the service oriented reputation. The front desk person lack sensitivity and I would inform the hotel management of our experience if they had provided comment cards in the room.

Travelling with a 3 yo and 7 yo is challenging. The staff at the Moorpark hotel went out of their way on a daily basis to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. From check-in to check-out the front desk was prompt, courteous, and quick to offer help. The Moorpark kept us well rested and low stress for our family vacation. There are several walking distance restaurants, including Tony Roma's and Applebees. There is also a mall about 3 miles away with many restaurants. This was a great pick, made solely based on other reviews.
