What are your breakfast options?: We serve a full English breakfast with a daily special dish.
What transport is available to get around?: You really do need a car here. There is a bus which goes past the hotel once an hour Monday to Saturday, but it does a long "milk run" into the city.
What can I do nearby?: The Moorland Hotel is situated on the southern slopes of Dartmoor National Park with views across the moors and the sea. Foot/bridle paths lead from the hotel over the moorland. It is the ideal base for touring this beautiful and very interesting part of South Devon, including the beaches of the South Hams, beautiful Dartmoor, and the coastal city of Plymouth with all its maritime history. There is also a wealth of National Trust Properties in close proximity and the Eden Project in Cornwall is a pleasant hour’s drive away. Nearby also are horse trekking, a dry ski slope, golf course and various other activities.
Do you have internet?: At present, Wi-Fi is available in some of the rooms. However, in the New Year we are upgrading the service to all rooms. We do not charge for its use.
Do you provide parking?: We have a large private car park, there is no charge for parking.
