What are your breakfast options?: We offer cooked breakfast as well as cereal, fruit juice etc. This is served from 9:00am each morning.
What can I do nearby?: As Monties Guesthouse is located in the centre of Bowness village, it has easy access to many tourist attractions and Lake Windermere.
Do you have internet?: Wi-fi access is available, but generally only on ground floor level and it is free of charge.
What transport is available to get around?: There is a main line train station in Windermere which is a mile away and this is served by local buses and taxis which run regularly. From Manchester Airport there is a train service that runs directly from the airport into Windermere village. There are reliable and regular bus services which will take visitors to all parts of the Lake District and also private hire cars and bus trips.
Do you provide parking?: There is limited parking at Monties and our few parking spaces are on a first-come, first-served basis but we do also provide parking permits for the nearby car park at a minimal charge.
