i've stayed at monte 4x. everything about it is good, nothing about it is great, kinda like ballys. i get offered a very cheap to free room once or twice a year, usually with some other freebies and i'm strictly low stakes. no complaints with monte carlo. exceptional service, too.

I loved that its in the middle of the strip and beautiful. I would love to go back. As soon as we arrived they made us feel at home. The staff is very helpful and go out of their way to please the guest.

Excellent hotel with fantastic facilities and was in a very good postion on the Strip. The service was great. I highly recommend Monte Carlo.

An excellent stay in a VG facility that doesn't suffer some of the extreme foot traffic as the Big Boys of The Strip, yet it still offers a great array of dining choices - covering both ends of the price and quality spectrum - and some moderately priced gaming tables, too. My room was of ample size and the bathroom was very clean. I enjoyed my visit there and would recommend it to others.

The Monte Carlo hotel was less than what I expected. The pictures on the website were great, but I was disappointed with my room. I would not stay there again. As a guest, they require that you pay for the printing of your boarding pass...I didn't pay. The restaurants were okay, I have eaten better. Also, one of the restaurants I wanted to visit was under construction. There also was a lot of construction going outside on the walkways.

Our stay at the Monte Carlo on February 23rd through February 26th was very pleasant. We enjoyed the buffet and the room was wonderful. The only complaint was getting the $10 player slot card. On the last day we waited for 1/2 hour to get our card and when I got there the lady behind the desk gave me a card and instructions. I tried the card and it was invalid. I was so upset that it was not worth it to stand in line for that long and not have the card to work. You need to get better workers that knows how to move the lines faster. It really ruined my day.

Was not overcrowded due to the lack of recognition, also close to regular shopping and dining. Was a little further away from the action on the strip than planned. It is a great hotel and has great customer service. It is across form NYNY and Planet Hollywood. There is Gameworks across the street and has a large pool and arcade. Would be a great family resort on the strip as it is more hotel than casino. The gaming and slots are limited but nice. Valet service is very quick and courteous, as well as the other services offered. Very well rounded and good location on the strip.

The overall experience was quite good at Monte Carlo at the price I paid for. Room is in good size with 2 double beds and comfortable design and colour tone. Something can be improved, to add adequate toiletries in the bathroom, it seems like it is only suitable for a deluxe motel use (i.e. no shower gel only shampoo). Also, there is no minibar (or fridge) and no coffee/tea making facilities in room. Location is fantastic, only accross the road from M&M and Coca Cola Museum. Will stay there again next trip back to Las Vegas!!!

Casino was clean, table and slots were fine except not enough tables. Buffet was adequate in the morning and terrible for the supper buffet. They definitely need to improve their food. The food court was nice but Sbarro and Haagen-Daz were too expensive. Also , could not use coupons provided by hotel at Haagen-Daz for buy onw get one sundae. My next trip will be back to the Planet Hollywood Casino.

Wondeful hotel. Uograded monroca room was wonderful. It was the best room I have ever stayed in vegas and I have stayed in alot of them. Great location on the strip. Food was good and the staff made me feel welcome. This las vegas trip was a great vacation. Will return to vegas later on this year in november for the gaming expo and we will be staying at the Monte Carlo again

We really enjoyed theall in omelifestyle. The room itself was a little older without man amenities. We truly enjoed the swimming pools, the sports bar and the very diverse gambling areas. Mee Sook and I felt that the Cafe had a very limited menu which was disappointing.

I enjoyed my last stay in the Monte Carlo but the arge amount of building work all around makes this a much less enjoyable place to stay even when finished it will be overlooked by glass apartments

We stayed at the Monte Carlo over Easter weekend and thought the front desk was freindly and polite and the rooms were adequate, nothing spectacular but fine for the price. At the pool all they played was RAP music, loud and in bad taste with all the cussing. It's a good thing all the young kids were not paying attention to the lyrics. Do not eat at Diablos, very slow and poor customer service from the hostess.

I had the spa suite and it was great! the room was clean and casino was great, the buffet is well worth your and the pool was one of the best (loved the lazy river ) and we had no problem finding a chair there even when we went around 1:00pm. overall i'd give the MC 20 on a scale of 1-10 !

Just got back from Vegas last night (stayed 4-8 - 4-11) and I must say we had a great time and great experience. We were nervous about hotel construction next door based on other reviews, but we were away from the construction, and honestly, the noise wasn't so overbearing anyways near the construction. We arrived around 1130 am, and they got us a room right away to our specifications. I was with my boyfriend and another couple, and we all agreed that we would stay again for the price and service. Very nice little room for the price- how often are you in your room in Vegas, anyways? Nice views of NY/NY from the room. Toilet water pressure was like a jet engine- so prepare yourself upon first flush. Water pressure in the shower was so-so, but its a huge hotel so you can't expect magic. Hanging out by their pool was great, lazy river was really fun, and the location on the strip was pretty much perfect. CVS next door was nice, too. Diablo's Cantina was a cute/fun place to have a few drinks and laughs. All in all, we had a great time, and would stay again. Some reviews are sooo nitpicky about this hotel, but we didn't encounter any problems. You're in Vegas, after all...what more can you want? Give the Monte Carlo a shot. I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

It's hard to say anything was really bad. Its just that everything was just average and boring. The food was below average for Las Vegas. They charge 13.99 a night for internet in room ( 5106 a year.. a little steep ). ( how about the rest of the world with free wireless? ). The Cafe was extremely over-priced for very average-to-poor quality. 60 for a tough steak dinner for 2? There is absolutely nothing special or memorable about this hotel. GIven that there are so many fabulous hotels in Las Vegas, I would highly recommend you stay somewhere else. All the high-roller rooms were empty. Why would anyone want to stay here. if they could stay anywhere else? Beats me.. Also, they seem to turn off the A/C at times during the night, and you'll wake up in a sweat. Very strange. Our non-smoking room reeked of smoke. I'm not that fussy, so i stayed.. but never, never, never again

Nice for the price. Charge outrageously for internet use.

Excellent location and the Buffet was very goodvalue. We extended our stay and they gave us our room at a cheaper rate. Will stay here again. The Deuce Bus line also stops right out the front which was very handy for travelling up and down the strip.
