Great service and friendly people. Air conditioner was very noisy and that make it hard to get a good nights sleep. We upgraded to a pool side room, which we spent more money for and their pool side rooms are not on the pool they are just on the side of the hotel that the pool is on. That was a big waste of money. You also had to pay for parking and internet.

If you have not stayed in this hotel you are missing a fun experience. The location is perfect (close to great shopping and some of the best restaurants and bars in Scottsdale), the hotel bar is one of the coolest I have ever seen and the restaurant (Asia De Cuba) is just as good as the flagship in NY. If yuo have not tried this hotel you should as it is a great experience and the staff will go out of their way to make you want to return.

The pictures of this hotel looked so appealing online. However, when my husband and I arrived we were very disappointed. The pool was very small and overcrowded. The waitresses at the pool were very unhelpful and we had to often leave our lounge chair the get any service. The room had popcorn ceilings, was very dusty, and was extremely cramped. Everywhere we looked paint was chipped or parts of the walls were coming off. Also we saw a roll of toilet paper that was dropped in the hallway and left there for our entire stay. The elevator was disgusting and did not feel safe. Although the nightlife seemed to be happening, the hotel did not allow for a true vacation. We will never stay at this hotel again and it is not worth even half what we paid for this overpriced fake four start hotel. The only positive part of this stay was the location(in the heart of downtown Scottsdale) However, there are many other hotels that would probably hold it's value. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

Party-atmosphere, a lot of young people with drinks in a pool, lot of fun. Room: hotel is in an old building that looks kind of scary from the outside. Bathroom older and not nice. Cleaner did not clean our room carefully, never exchanged empty bottles of shampoo or body wash etc., left dirty glasses. Speakers inside the pool make it more fun to swim when everybody is gone from pool. Modern look of the hotel but when you look closer everything is old and used. Need renovations. Very loud air conditioning. Would not recommend.

The convenience of restaurants, mall, park and stores; walking distance -right in the hotel backyard. The standard room was suitable for a single person. Overall, the hotel was nice. There were some things I expected to be in the room, for example, shower cap, and/or lotion. There was a mini bar with water, beverages, alcohol, and candy for purchase. It was so full, I could not put anything in it.

The Mondrian is very chic and is true to it's Southbeach heritage. The decor is very modern, clean and comfortable and the location in old Scottsdale is great. Unfortunately, I am 44 and could not appreciate the loud weekend all-night parties in adjacent rooms and the all day pool parties were not for me. If you are in your twenties or early thirties and and like to party (very hard as I saw many a hotel guest passed out) then this is the place for you. All in all, Ill pass next time.

Nothing. This is the worst hotel. The place was disgusting there was food left on trays in the walkways in 100Deg heat. The rooms had no amenities only items for sale everywhere.

Arrived late at night and had trouble finding the place - no signage whatsoever. Needed a couple of items and hotel staff provided within 5 minutes. Room was spacious, with huge balcony overlooking city park. Room ventilation not easy to control - too warm or too cool. Restaurant service friendly but very slow - took me 15 minutes to get an order of pancakes, and there was only 1 other patron in the place. Free coffee by hostess desk was luke-warm. Black and white, ultra modern decor may not be to everyone's liking.

Remodeled small rooms with non functioning decor. All fluff and no function. Loud parties at night. Allways something missing after room cleaned ie no soap, no wash cloths, no glases. The only thing I saw they emphasized was valet parking which I do not need. The staff was plesant but still non functioning. Lots of white drapes and valet parking does not make a hotel.

The hotel staff is super friendly. The pool is beautiful. Hotel has a pool that is filled with 20 years and looks like spring break on the weekends We showed up at 11pm on Friday night and the bar was filled with scantilly clad men and women and those were the employees. You will have to walk through this to check in on Friday and Saturday night apparently.We were woken up both nights late in the evening by loud revelers going to their cars. During the day on Saturday and Sunday, the pool is packed with 20 year hard bodies staring intently at each other and you if you happen to walk by in your bathing suit. There's a DJ and drink service. It's basically a spring break atmosphere only less out of control. They do have a serenty pool which was more the family pool. In summary, if you are over 35 or not into the hard body party scene, I would skip this on the weekends. The staff is nice and the service is great. Might be nice during the week but be advised, the walls are thin and even traffic noise carries into the room.

The funky decor was fun. Very non family friendly, children were not allowed in the large pool. This hotel is a fun, trendy, hip place to stay if you are 20-35 years of age and aren't interested in sleeping. Our room was located next to the street which was noisy from motorcycles and traffic. The room doors seemed to slam when closing which woke us up when people were coming back late from parting.

"This hotel is awful! The rooms were not clean. Everything is black and white. Uncomfortable feeling. A stuffed sheep is in the lobby. Gym equipment was broken. Very noisy, can't sleep a full night! A lot of people come at night to the popular club. Unsafe feeling. All rooms have exterior doors. Air conditioner/heater does not regulate temperature. Everything overpriced! Not a good Scottsdale experience! "

The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean. The decor was not warm or inviting. The pool was extremely loud. We had to leave hotel to get away from noise. Bed was comfortable, room was clean - The decor was very cold and minimalist with hard chairs. The pool was very loud. This is a great hotel for the partying 20 something crowd. Definitely not a sanctuary for rest and relaxation.

"The property owners are doing a great job at renovations. The beds were awesome, along with the trendy loft feel of the rooms. Front desk and housekeeping service was equal to a 4 star hotel! They need to work out the small details and offer more amenities free to paying guest, such as free computer access in lobby and new ironing board covers. First rate fitness facility and pools. Beautiful landscaping."
