Close to shopping area. Free wireless internet. Bathroom floors were heated! Staff were helpful arranging tours and directions.

Very efficient and helpful staff. Rooms very spacious and up-to-date. WiFi in room included. Excellent hotel along the water next to the Passenger Terminal (perfect if your departing or arriving for cruise). Beautiful and modern spacious rooms with complimentary WiFi in room and free use of printer in business center in lobby.

Excellent, new hotel with views over the river and city centre. Cost more than most similar hotels, so I don't think its good value. Only concern was that when I checked in at 3pm the hall was still littered with what seemed to be breakfast meal trays.

Modern, clean, great location, free shuttle to the central station (major inter and intra city transportation hub). Staff could be a little bit more friendly, but still was better than European average. Overall a great hotel. Excellent views of the harbor. The hotel itself is new and accommodations are well appointed and thoroughly modern. There is a refrigerator in the room and a spacious private bathroom (a relative rarity in the old European Hotels). The staff could be a little bit more friendly, but this is typical of European Service industry. They were not rude, but most questions were answered with either yes or no, so it took some prodding to get details out of them. Concierge completely lacks initiative, so if a problem arises you need to have a suggestion for a solution that you can provide to him.

It was clean and peaceful, with a great view. It was too far from the central part of Amsterdam.

The views from the room were perfect. The staff was very accommodating and went out of their way to make me feel at home. The location wasn't perfect but to get away from it all for some rest and realization it was perfect. Simply would recommend this hotel to anyone that was looking to stay away from the craziness that occurs in the immediate center of Amsterdam. The views of the river beat the any canal view. If you were looking for a hotel with a modern flair and comfortable rooms this is the place to be. The staff made this experience great I would stay there many times over.

It was a big room and large bathroom. Was a hike to the city center. Great staff and rooms. Rooms were clean and large with great views of the harbor where the cruise ships dock. Did not eat in the restaurants, too pricey for my taste.

Comfortable rooms. Location a bit remote. Modern hotel, good for business or leisure, very clean, excellent service.

Large room with lovely view and good facilities. Location was inconvenient for walking to central Amsterdam. A modern hotel with good facilities but could be located anywhere (not a European feel to it). Hotel provided shuttle service to train station.

View outstanding. Staff was very accommodating. Access to front door is inconvenient because it is below street level and separated from main road by a canal. Ultra-modern and spotless. Staff among the best we have encountered. Shuttle service to and from Amsterdam Central Train Station is free and runs every half hour. Food was expensive and for this reason we did not opt for included breakfast or eat in the restaurant. Free bottle of drinking water each day. The view above 15th floor overlooking Amstel River provided a continuing parade of interesting and varied watercraft. Except for food cost, an excellent location.

Clean, modern, well-equipped room. Ashort hike away from the Central Station, but worth it. Very nice facility, modern but comfortable.

Clean, modern, and wonderful staff. Great hotel right near Central Station. Very convenient for river cruises and the cruise terminal.

Clean, efficient, great location, great views of Amsterdam and the harbor area. No swimming pool. Quality of food and food service was mediocre. We spent three nights at the hotel in April 2009. Efficiency, cleanliness and safety were excellent. Views from the rooms were also good. Concierge was very helpful too. It's an easy walk to Central Station - but there was a lot of construction at the time there which made parts of the walk a bit risky due to bike traffic. Otherwise, a great choice. On the downside, the food was hit or miss. We had a chicken curry that was awful and was more like a bit of boiled chicken with some sauce thrown on as an afterthought. On the other hand, also had a superb steak there. Service was consistently slow (an hour in some cases to get food). Room service was exceptionally slow for anything but pre-scheduled breakfast. I did complain and received one sandwich free, but only after initially being made to feel that it was my problem for being impatient (after an hour's wait!)

Very helpful staff. Clean, modern and big rooms comparable to American standards. Only slight disadvantage is the location. Hotel is located on the other side of city center but it is only 7-10 min walk from Central Station.

Cleanliness, location, service. Breakfast. The hotel is in a great location, with spectacular views, only minutes by foot from Central Station. The room was very clean, with stylish furniture and a large, modern bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff.

Location was great; room was modern and well organized. There was no air-conditioning, just climate control. The room was too warm. The staff was extremely helpful with directions and suggestions. It was a short 5-10 minute walk to Central Station and the center of town. We did not eat in the main restaurant, but the bar. The menu there was very good and reasonable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

Good location, pretty new hotel and good staff also. Restaurant prices werequite high. Very good hotel, quite new installations and good staff.

Very quiet, great view, easy to access trams/trains, comfortable. A little bit further from city center than I expected, restaurant seemed a little expensive. Surprisingly quiet and beautiful.

Really nice hotel, friendly staff, an excellent perk was the free sauna to help wind-down and relax.

The hotel was very nice, the staff was very friendly and helpful Was not in a convinent location although they had a free shuttle to the central every 30 minutes. Nice hotel, great rooms and friendly staff. The location is not central, it is about 15 min walk to the central station, though the hotel had free shuttel to the nearest train station every 30 mins.
