Great modern furnishing with all the necessities. Comfortable beds, lush linens and quiet surrondings. The facility seems to be more appropriate for adults. A fantastic wine bar in the hotel with a huge selection. Park the car in the lot close by and enjoy the easy access to shopping, dining and local neighborhoods.

Moda Hotel was a perfect selection. Centrally located to local attractions, public transportation, and shopping. The wine bar next door was a nice place to enjoy a glass or two. The market and coffee shop on the same street are very convenient.

Great location, quirky place with interesting Front desk staff. Totally worth the deal that I got on travelocity. Not worth the posted non-sale rate - If you get a great deal and it is not hot in Vancouver go for it, if not give this property a miss. PS Great wine store attached to the Hotel.

I stayed at this hotel and I was so not impressed. The desk clerk appeared to be an addict and was surly. The hotel has been renovated to be well, ghetto chick is probably the best description. Basically it's just a fresh coat of paint, new linnens and a new tv. Nothing special. What I found absolutely nerve racking and disturbing was the fact that I checked my credit card statement the day after and I seen that they put a pre authorization on for 650 when I was staying a single night in a room that cost 99. Thankfully I got that refunded

Construction next door very noisy, but at reasonable hours (after 9am). Well located, clean, well appointed in the price range. Parking is difficult. Reception staff was polite and helpful.

Nothing spectacular, but nothing to complain about.

Decent sized room, good location, very stylish room. The hotel has gone through renovation, and it's not air conditioned yet, though promises to be. We visited during a Vancouver heat wave and had to sleep with the windows open. Lots of street noises, and our view over the back alley dumpster could have been better.

Stayed here so we could walk to see "Dutch Art Masterpieces from the Rijksmuseum" at Vancouver Art Gallery, located a few blocks away. Also had many choices within walking distance for eating at variety of restaurants, and shopping at numerous stores on Robson St. and in the vicinity. Hotel staff was very helpful with check-in. Hotel accomodations were satisfactory for our short stay, but bathroom sink without counter space was inconvenient, and location on busy street was noisy. When the planned air conditioning is installed (soon?), then windows would not need to be opened for air circulation--this could cut down on the noise. Hotel parking for a $15 additional fee at a nearby public lot was unsecured (without locked garage door). We were warned about possibility of theft--robbers chose 2 other cars near ours to break into; not sure why we were spared but we were thankful for not being victimized.

The hotel was quite a find for us. It clearly isn't super fancy, but it is super clean and modern. I would recomment this hotel to anyone looking in Vancouver. The hotel staff was great! Great location! Great city!

Located near the end of Robson, this cute modern hotel is in a great location with easy access to shopping, restaurants, & bars. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was quiet, the furnishings and decorations moderns and basic. The bed was a little hard, but surprisingly comfortable. Parking was very close in a parking garage for only C$11/day.

It was my first time in Vancouver and I was by myself. The hotel itself was very nice but the only problem I had with it was that there was no room service. There were days I didnt want to go out to look for food, although not hard to find there were just some times that I wanted breakfast in bed. Its location to Granville St was great, only a block away. The staff was very friendly as well.

The hotel is very modern and at a good location. Easy to get cabs outside the door. 2 or 3 blocks to the nearest eating place, which turned out excellent. The biggest turn off was the size of the room. Much to small with no place to sit unless you sat on your beds. The beds were excellent and the bathroom was nice and plenty big enough.

The first problem we had was there was no parking in front of the hotel. We circled the block, found a parking meter the next street over, and walked back to the hotel. After checkin we were told the parking was down the block and across the street. With all of our luggage in tow we hiked back to the hotel and up to our room. It was stifling hot because the hotel didn't have any air conditioning and it was 95 degrees outside. We had to sleep with the window open to try to get some relief from the heat. As a result, the food smells from the exhaust fans of the restaurant/bar down below filled the room. We were also serenaded by birds, construction noise, trash cans, and drunk patrons. We didn't get much sleep at all. The room itself was clean and the staff was pleasant. The bathroom was large and clean. If the hotel were to install air conditioning and noise proof windows it wouldn't be a bad place to stay but it still would only be a 1-2 star stay

We were very happy with the location as we could walk to Gastown and Chinatown, and we got a cab to the dock easily. The hotel is clean and had all the room essentials. A small room with no air conditioning, but the window opened and they provided a fan. It doesn't get too hot in Vancouver anyway. The restaurant downstairs was only open for dinner and we did not eat there so I have no comment on that. We were pleased and would stay there again if we return to Vancouver.

Close to Yaletown, Davie Village etc. Clean rooms, great staff. Walk everywhere!

Moda Hotel in downtown vancouver was very stylish. The staff was really nice. They kept the room clean every day. The location was super convenient...walking distance to everything! But, because the summer weather was warm and humid, the lack of A/C in the hotel room themselves and the hallway, was disappointing. We had guests who met us in the hotel comment on how hot the hallway was. Even though the room had fans, some of the guests I was with said it wasn't enough. Also, because of the downtown location, it was difficult to sleep because the of street noise. Sometimes, closing the windows did not help. One of the guests I stayed with had to buy earplugs for complete silence so she can sleep through the night.

The Moda Hotel is conveniently located in downtown Vancouver and an easy walk to most of the city. One downside is that the rooms are not air conditioned--normally not a concern but Vancouver was having a heat wave when we were there! Staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The room was adequately sized, with a nice bath.

Moda hotel is a nice boutique hotel with friendly staff which is more than adequate for a reasonable price. The only complaint I had was the street noise from Seymore street, which always seemed to be busy with loud cars and large trucks (luckily I had my earplugs). An interior room would probably have been much quieter.

The Moda Hotel was quite a nice stay. Very close to downtown Vancouver. Hotel Staffs are generally nice. Room is pretty good, but the red wall is kind of weird.
