Date of Stay: March, 2008

The pool had no water in it during our one-week stay. The beds were hard and the rooms old and minimally glossed over. Toilet blocked up for three days - plumber could not fix. We were finally offered another room on the last day of our stay. Elevators did not work properly if at all leaving us trapped on the second floor on several occasions. The good news: the manager, was lovely and tried to help us as best he could with what he had to work with.

Nothing, really bad service. They were oversold and they moved me to other hotel that was really bad.

Overall, my stay was great. The staff is very friendly, especially Rene the bartender. He speaks very good english, and tells you what to do and where to go see the attractions. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. I was the only one using the pool in the early afternoon. I saw them clean it once, but I cleaned it when I used it. They could clean the pool better for the guests. Other than that, a very nice place to stay. The rooms are big, and mine even had a sitting room. The shower was awesome. I will stay there again.

The space of room is huge but old. The restaurant is high class price but very poor in service and quality!

Location. Check in staff never offered us the welcome drink coupon nor was that breakfast included. Hotel old and musty. Staff did not offer the welcome drink and did not tell us about breakfast that was included until checkout. Offered 10% discount on bill, but ended up at same starting price. Rip off. I go to meridian Mexico often but will never stay nor recommend this hotel again.

The experience was a good one. I like the hotel a lot, but the cleaning of the rooms needs improvement. Overall, I like this hotel, and when I go back will stay there again.

Extremely nice, helpful staff. Restaurant good. Surroundings nice. Beds have no mattresses only boxsprings - hard. Would definitely stay here again.
