A must is to use the Asian Restaurant next door

We used this hotel as a base for Motor Racing at SilverstoneThe hotel was very accommodating as we had early starts. They put on breakfast as early as we wanted it and provided everything we needed including a secluded spot for parking our classic sports car!

A little trip back to the 70's!

You get what you pay forAccommodation booked late on late rooms. Hotel built in 1980's, bit of the beaten track, beginning to look it's age in some areas, as wellas in it's plumbing, which could be noisy. But if you use Travelodge type hotels, worth considering as it has some benefits that most of these places don't. Food excellent as cooked to order, none of the microwaving you see in supposedly higher class hotels, though restaurant looks like a copy of a Holiday INN Express, though not promoted or used as much as would have thought. Customer service from owner/managers could have been better as reported phone in room not working properly and it was not repaired/replaced, also fan in room not working reported and not replaced, would have been handy as weather became warm and so did the room. Staff friendly and pleasant. Easy driving distance of Northampton or Milton Keynes. Asian restaurant next door if need a different menu some night, but I didn't feel the need. A petrol station is also on site. Would use again.

DisappointingDue to it being Grand Prix weekend, I have to imagine that the price was elevated. The rooms were basic and the bar was tatty. I would not choose to stay here again, that said for it was very convenient for Silverstone.

We stayed for one night whilst visiting Silverstone for the F1. The accommodation was very basic but relatively clean. The hotel could do with 'sprucing up' and updating. The toilet as loose from the wall and the sink taps were loose and the cold tap didn't work and there were splatterings up the bathroom walls. We were charged £160 for one night which I assume was price hiked for the F1 and that didn't even include breakfast. We then paid a further £7.50 for a cooked breakfast but the service was very poor, we had to go and find the staff to order our food and it was cold when it was served to the table. The dining room was virtually empty so there was no excuse for poor service. The only plus point was it's locality to Silverstone.

It's ok what you pay for but they should look to review their menu as its a bit out dated especially with the Thia restaurant open next door. The owner and guy on reception very helpful I just wish the waitress would smile. Breakfast was fantastic as normal, I have stayed here before but I feel it's time for change to somewhere with more variety on the menu. But its ok

Clean comfortable, reasonable valueBooked at last minute for business. Slightly down-at-heal from outside but very clean in. WiFi & digital TV worked fine. Would stay again for business.

nice room, not very nice foodThis is a strange place! It's 12 miles from Milton Keynes, but in the countryside so very quiet. The room itself was clean comfortable and quite cheap, but the restaurant was empty - I had a meal served to me on a tray in the bar!. The quality was just about ok (average pub food). There is a very good Thai restaurant next door, but I don't like Thai food. So - a cheap place to stay, but a long way from MK and next time I'll eat in a pub in the village.

Generally goodThis hotel is fine for a stop over or a one night staff. Anything more and things are different. It is not near the city centre, the hotel surroundings are under construction, it is quite hard to find. The staff are however very friendly, rooms have all the necessary things required and the bed is very comfortable.

Nice hotel in need of a refitThe Comfort Inn is a funny hotel really. It's a strange mix of the fairly modern and the decidedly early 90's. Not that this should detract from your experience. What there is, is generally very good quality.I didn't have time to sample the restaurant, but you should know it only opens 7pm - 9pm in the evenings. So should you finish early or late... you could be looking elsewhere for a meal.

Need to attract more businessonly about 6 rooms occupied out of 50. If price is dropped to approx £29, they will gain more custom. Should be an iron and ironing board in every room. Did not receive a board when asked for. Other local hotels are offering more for less price.

not sure to revisitNice room but!no full ironing board availabletv only had one channel, but give them their due, they did fix this by providing a freeview box immediately. 110% for that.milk supplier with room coffee was off and out of date, thus did not elect to have a meal in.Not the sort of things one wants to deal with after a hard days work

Not Again What a strange place this is !!! Stayed 2 night. The room was clean & sparse, however the shower did not work.I ate on my first night of arrival and it was probably the worst meal I have ever eaten, needless to say I ate elsewhere the 2nd night.I decided to stick with a safe bet of toast & coffe for breakfast so that was OK.The hotel is close to a busy A road so the noise from the traffic was easily heard in the room all of the time.I could not recommend and would NOT stay here again.

Theres a lot of things that need to be brought to attention about this hotel, The description gives the impression that it is in Milton Keynes (it isnt) it's in the middle of no where next to a petrol station on the border with Northamptonshire. I arrived at the hotel to find a man at reception who didnt speak english and smoking. It stunk. He then gave me a room. A few mins later before walking into the room we found out that someone else was in this room (a young girl on her own) thank god it wasnt the middle of the night. On arrival at our room it was very basic. And the bathroom absolutley stunk. The window in the room was very old and didnt shut properly so you could the cars pulling in and out of 24 hr petrol station. It advertises on website that there is a bar and restaurant here. This was shut due to staff shortages. I Paid £55 for room and felt very ripped off. I wont be staying here again. They need to lower there prices and get some staff.

What a brilliant find! A spotlessly clean, tremendously comfortable, clean and convenient hotel with outstanding service and an experienced, enthusiastic and sociable owner/manager on site who looks after your every need. Not only did Shiraz sort out my flat battery, he cooked special meals for me on 2 occassions to make me feel especially welcome. Great hospitality and felt like coming home every night. If you haven't stayed here, you've missed out! Book early to avoid disappointment...
