Having stayed at this hotel many times i know what to expect. Easy parking, nice open spaces, goods size rooms with comftable beds and clean bathrooms and work stations.Food while over priced as per normal in hotels is good and servcie was quick.Speedy check-in/outMiles better than the Holiday Inn although that can offer better rates.

Great hotel for location to motorway and Reading town centre. Good value for money too and free parking. Only small downside to room was dust on lamps and edges but apart from that nice room. As ask for a later check out if you want as we got up late Sunday went out for breakfast and came back and had a swim etc so didn`t check out until 1:30 and staff were fine with that.

Efficient, comfortable Only stayed overnight, booking correct, room fine, breakfast fine - hotel pretty empty due to weekend booking, but all services - bar, room service, breakfast - all worked fine - no corners cut - well done!

Modern and well-located hotelEasy to find, large, smart hotel. Breakfast excellent but make sure it is included in your rate. Pool was a little tired and staff were not really bothered about our concerns. However, main hotel really well-run and rooms well-appointed. Bathrooms excellent. It's pretty newly built and everything works.

Really great hotel for business and anything do to with Reading Football club or events held at the Madejski Stadium. You will need a taxi or drive if you wish to eat anywhere other than the hotel. That said the food is excellant and I mixed the two with no trouble. Would and will stay here again.

Professional hotelA clean, modern hotel with professional and attentive staff. Room good quality, fresh and well furnished. Room service prompt and better than average selection / quality. TV crackled but I didn't complain so it didn't get fixed.Gym facilities acceptable but appeared a little basic which clashed with overall appearance of hotel.A little journey out of the town centre (£10) by taxi from train station and nothing within walking distance if you wished to leave hotel, but suited my needs for business trip.

Weekend in Reading!We enjoyed staying at the hotel. The pool was lovely and the breakfast absolutely excellent - some of everything.The room was tidy and ok with air conditioning on. It would be nice to have the option of one child sleeping on a sofabed or some other separate bed rather than 2 in a double.One of the covers didn't smell too fresh but generally, the beds were comfortable and there was everything we needed. Once the ac was on and we weren't in a sauna any longer, we spent a comfortable quiet night.Apples in the reception area were a welcome touch and staff were quietly efficient.We would go back which is probably the most important thing to know!

excellent hotellovely accommodation stayed at this hotel a few times , staff very friendly ,food very good lots of facilities available .only issue this time was the housekeeping was not up to its normal standard ,mentioned it a reception and was imediately offered a new room and that they would send some one up to pack for me couldnt ak for anything more really ..definately a good recommendation.

Just an overnight stopThis was an overnight stop to enable us to visit friends in Reading. The hotel was conveniently situated to the M4, was easy to find and had excellent parking facilities. The rooms were very cleanand well equiped. We only had breakfast at the hotel but found the breakfast buffet comprehensive and well presented.We would use this hote lagain without hesitation.

Reading Half MarathonWe stay as me and my girlfriend ran the half marathon on the sunday. We found the hotel and the staff very friendly and helpful.It made our stay a very good one and to have a late check out was a lovely touch.We will back next year thats for sure.Many thanks,Tony & Carol xx

Excellent stay.The staff were very helpful and efficient on arrival. The room was spacious and well furnished although the pillows were a little hard for our preference. The buffet breakfast was stupendous, well stocked and well cooked. We didn't need to eat anything else all day.

Lovely hotel, gym and pool excellent, was told last breakfast was eleven and despite breakfast obviously closed, staff took a lot of trouble to resolve.

Hotel always seems reasonably quiet, though not been there when football on!Got a really good deal through Laterooms on a suite, which was absolutely phenomenal. The room was stunning, nothing was too much trouble for staff, the room service was superb.Staff were even not too badly put out that we arrived 5 mins after breakfast had closed, and had started setting tables for lunch!?!?All in all, a really clean, stylish, contemporary hotel, where the staff and food are excellent. Would very highly recommend, and will definitely stay again.

The breakfast was rather undercooked and looked unappetising. There was no butter provided with the toast.
