We stayed in a junior suite on the 36th floor directly across from Ground Zero and we loved it...but I think it is because we were up so high and that on Friday July 4th no construction was going on. The suite was great: corner window for the parents and a foldable sofa for the kids with their own TV in the main room (common bathroom between the rooms). We watched the fireworks from up there! The restaurant was pretty good and the pool was clean and very very nice (there is a small sauna as well). The concierge was not too helpful as far as tips for local breakfast place.

Overall, it was a great place to stay. If you like to walk and sightsee, this would be a great place to come to. The hotel was well maintained, plenty of cabs and limo's available. The valet parking was a disaster. I recommend eating in Soho or the Village.

A nice, very clean, contemporary hotel. Service from the front door to the room was quick and suprisingly hospitable. This was our first trip to Manhattan. Living in the South, we were not expecting the hospitality we received. We will definitely return to Manhattan and stay at the Hilton Millenium.

A bit disappointed that there were no slippers provided or free bottled water. The biggest disappointment, though, was the disgusting public bathroom in the lobby.

The construction noise made it the value of this hotel close to zero. We had added a weekend stay to a business trip, but the construction just kept going. We had no warning ahead of time. I will never ever stay here again. While the amenities and rooms are nice, it does not make up for nights with no sleep. I'd rather sleep in a one star hotel. I cannot believe this hotel is even open given the noise. The construction went on all night!!!

Thank me later. Our trip was a small getaway, which we were told we'd receive a free breakfast, notification if there was construction, and have a jacuzzi. All of those selling points were complete fabrications. There was no breakfast, (it's 26/pp for a mediocre buffet) There was a tremendous amount of construction at Ground Zero (which by the way should not be a tourist attraction.) And, as for the jacuzzi, many people complained that the hotel had completely made it up, b/c there was none. In addition, if you even OPEN the mini bar, you are accused of taking things out, because there is a sensor and you will automatically be charged, even if you didn't take anything. (I swear!) My bed upon arrival had hair all over the pillow, and to top it off, the staff was very rude, and unwelcoming. They did nothing to go out of their way to make the trip a memorable stay. I will never stay at another Hilton again, if you want a great value, try the Hyatt chain- they are never a dissapointment.

I took my two daughters with my sister to experience New York and show them the Big Apple. We could not have asked for a nicer Hotel located right next to Ground Zero and all the history there. The Hotel was clean, fancy, and staff was very helpful. We would stay again in a Heartbeat.

This hotel used to be 1st choice for me until this visit. The hotel is still excellent but the noise from the World Trade Center site is awful. The hotel gives 1 set of earplugs, but they don't help at all. The rooms in the front of the hotel should be highly discounted. The noise starts at daybreak and ends at dark. Winter might be the best time to stay there.

Very clean, stylish, nice down duvets and pillows. Construction noise horrific, all through the night. Room supplied with earplugs. Front desk staff not very friendly.

Overall, the hotel was nice. We were extremely disappointed with the staff at both the reception desk and the baggage check. The staff was less than attentive, uninterested and distracted. I would not select this location again simply due to service alone.

The hotel was great, but the WTC construction is reason to stay away. They give you ear plugs at check in. The hotel price was discounted, but the parking rate was expensive. The hotel was expensive to get to by cab- all of the road closures around WTC. A great hotel, just not at this time when you need to sleep, or get around town.

The room was clean and well-appointed, with a very comfortable bed. However, the neighborhood is extremely quiet at night (as is to be expected in the Financial District) and the hotel bar and restaurant closed at midnight, leaving us with few entertainment options without hailing a taxi. We were not at all bothered by construction noise from the WTC site, and the black-out curtains were great at keeping out the construction lights. My biggest gripe is that during check-out, the hotel attempted to charge us for over $20 from the minibar. We did not activate any sensors, etc by accident because we didn't even know where the minibar was in the room!

This was a great room in a good part of the city. Easy to get subway. I loved the view. The fitness room was clean and well equipped. I would come back again for sure.

Great location, great view, everything was impeccable, nice indoor pool and sauna. Only the construction at ground zero until 11 pm might be a problem for some people but not for us.

Hotel is in a good location for business or clothes shopping. Right next door to Century 21, great shopping it opens at 7:45am. You can hear the constructions at Ground Zero, but it is not too bad. Dinner was good, but the service was terrible for both dinner and breakfast. Room service was very poor, the menu said assorted cereals (yes it was plural) and fruit for $13.00 and 1 tiny box of frosted flakes with 1 strawberry and 2 rasberries came. There is no where close to get breakfast other than the hotel, but the staff was nice.

This was my first trip to N.Y.C. and I have to say that my stay was more than I ever expected. Staff was excellent, room was clean, comfortable and had plenty of space for me and my two traveling companions.
