The hotel staff and everything was fine, but when I went to check in, the hotel clerk had my reservations for two people instead of three and told me I had to pay for the third person because his records showed I had only paid for two persons and this was incorrect so I had to call the travel booking agent and get them to fax over the correct reservation showing the third person as paid. My hotel reservations was not showing current and this made me furious and uneasy because the hotel clerk was telling me I have to pay for a third person when the third persons' fees was already included when I made the reservations. To stop this from happening the booking agent should make sure the reservations are accurate and correct with the hotel records before a guest arrives. Good thing I didn't just take the hotel clerk word and paid for the third person, at that point I called my booking agent back to make sure all three persons were paid when I used my credit card at the time I made the reservations and all 3 people were included in the reservations as paid.

the sevice was the worst ever!! first i was told i did not have a reservation. i explained we went thru cheap tickets and he finally found it, after that i was told i needed a credit card or a $100.00 deposit. i never had to go thru this ever when i reserve thru cheap tickets. but over all when i walked in my room it was great. the room was clean and very comfortable. i sleep like a babe.

The rooms were clean. Hot tub wasn't working. I liked staying here and will definitely return. The breakfast suited our family of five and housekeeping was prompt and thorough.

Disappointed that there were problems ranging from low battery warning on smoke alarms to telephone with no dial tone. Called to front desk to fix and they forgot to check on it until I came down to remind them.

Looked to be newly renovated with modern decor. People broke into the cars in the parking lot. Staff a little stand offish. I was pleasantly surprised how new it was. The hot tub didn't work and the pool was small. I would stay there again just because of all the little extras it came with and the cleanliness of it overall!

The layout of the room was nice, Met our needs. The bed was very uncomfortable and only 1 pillow per guest. It was a nice hotel.

I liked that it was a suite, with a small kitchenette and sitting room. It could have been a little cleaner. The milk was sour both mornings, I had to throw away my cereal both days.

This was our first visit to a Microtel. The room was very large & had a sink/kitchen bar area that divided bedroom from sitting area. The staff over our 3 days was accomodating,clear spoken & helpful. The best part was the bed. I would have loved to take the mattress home! It felt like a feather bed! We had no problem getting there or to restaurants in the area.

Their breakfast was excellent. Staff wasn't as friendly as I like. The last time I stayed in Amarillo, it was at a La Quinta and this hotel was a lot more cleaner. It also had breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, gravy, etc.

Location. The employees were hard to understand and not very helpful. Hotel was nice, but the employees were in no hurry to assist you.

Why settle for a room when you can have a suite for the same price? The Microtel Ft. Worth is a total non-smoking environment. Rooms are very competitively priced and include free internet service, and free local telephone calls. My suite featured a king-size bed and was extremely quiet, particularly considering the motel is located just off the interstate. Suites include a refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, dining area sink and countertop, iron and ironing board. Microtel Ft. Worth is equally suited for the overnight stay or weeklong business trip to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel was very basic but clean. The continental breakfast was basic but enough to keep us from having to eat out. This was good for our stay because we were on a short overnight trip.

We were really pleased with the setup of the room and the amenities that were included! The hotel was clean and the room was spacious. We liked having the refridgerator, microwave and sink with an eating counter. The bathroom had adequate counter space and was also spacious. I liked having a couch and a window seat. As far as the continental breakfast went though, I would have preferred more protein choices. I am a diabetic, and everything that was offered were high carb choices - not good for me at all. I did have the egg, sausage and biscuit breakfast sandwich, and even that spiked my sugar levels too high. That was our only complaint.
