We were looking for an inexpensive hotel near Hobart College in Geneva, NY. Any hotel in Geneva was fairly expensive ($130+) and I didn't want to spend that much figuring we would only be there to sleep. It looks like this hotel is fairly close to Geneva on the map but in fact it is two towns over and takes about 20 - 30 minutes to get there. Actually the hotel is sort of in between Waterloo and Seneca Falls and is right on the main road (HWY 5/20). It's not a great part of town and is surrounded by strip malls, so we made sure to park the car in front under a street light. The hotel staff wasn't particularly helpful when we checked in, but the room was good size and clean (although the entry way to the hotel did have a strange smell). Even though our room was facing the road we couldn't really hear road noise, which was nice. They include a continental breakfast which was good for my teenager b/c she could eat all she wanted. Next time I will try to stay in Geneva because we spent all of our time there (there isn't much to do in Waterloo or Seneca Falls), but if you are looking for a decent discount hotel this works.

The Microtel in Seneca Falls NY was a nice place to stay for a night. It was easy to find, on a main road close to restraurants, gas stations & stores (one grocery store right across the street is open 24 hrs). This particular motel is less than 2 yrs old so it was in good shape & clean. The girls at the front desk were very friendly, even when I sent the kids to get an extra blanket & extra towels. The only thing I didnt like was that it didnt have a small fridge, we had to get ice (which they provide) in a cooler to keep drinks in the room. They did have a small coffee maker, iron & board & a hairdryer. The beds were clean & comfortable... the bathroom was clean & stocked with soap, shampoo, tissues & toilet paper. They offer a continental breakfast of orange & apple juice, milk, coffee, tea, fresh bagels with different cream cheeses, two or three kinds of packaged muffins that were moist & delicious (we even took some of the blueberry & banana ones along for the 5 hour ride home), and three or four different kinds of cereal. We'll definitely stay there again.

I had booked only one night and when my plans changed I needed an extra one. I tried thru travelocity to book the extra night, but they told me there weren't any. When I arrived I was able to book the extra night. The staff was excellent. The Room (a suite) was nice except they didn't offer any tea for the In room coffee pot.

The size, kitchenette, cleanliness, comfort of bed/couch. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and how nice and clean it was. It was also extremely, conveniently located close to Seneca Falls visitor center, where we began the wine tour (the purpose of our trip). Overall I was extremely impressed.

Surprisingly nice and very inexpensive (almost half the price of the holiday inn across the street). But no frills. Bring your own shampoo, etc.

Price, location andcleanliness. In spite of the cigarette smell in the room, I would definitely stay at this hotel again because of convenience of the location.

It was clean. They have smoking rooms and the hallways had a stale smoke odor. The hotel is very utilitarian - definitely no frills. But, it was clean. We had a problem with the internet - we were able to call the support desk and after 10 minutes or so it was worked out. The smell of stale smoke in the hallways was concerning when we were checking in, but was glad it did not permeate our nonsmoking room. The price was reasonable.

We had stayed in this motel before and I specifically looked for it when returning. It met my previous high evaluation again. It is a clean, welcoming place to stay.

Convenient location, easy access to main highway or major roads. Access to restaurants and shopping. Hotel was very good. Nothing to add regarding this question. Excellent location, near major roads. Easy access to major shopping areas.

Friendly staff cleans, comfortable. Surprised there wasn't shampoo in the bathroom. I had never stayed at a Microtel before, and I won't have a problem staying there again. It has everything you need. Great price for room, fitness room and continental breakfast.

Did not sleep due to noise. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. The room next to me had a water tank heater that was malfunctioning and would kick in every hour at a noise level so high, the pictures on the wall in my room were vibrating. I called the front desk 3 times between midnight and 5 am and they did not help. Didn't even offer to move me to another room.

Cleanest hotel we've ever stayed at. Everything was super. Can't be beat. Microtel was a new experience for us and if there's one where we're going, we'll always stay there in the future. This chain is top-notch in every respect --caring, attentive staff, absolutely the cleanest place, orthopedic mattresses with three plump king size pillows per bed. Can't say enough good things about this hotel.

The outside upkeep of the motel. No sample shampoos. The Microtel had a well kept exterior. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was a very nice array. The rooms were a bit small but very adequate for the price. It was a very clean motel.
