Pool was small. Overall we really liked the hotel. We would stay there again and the quality was really good for the money.

Overall this is a good motel. Location is quite near I90, but no freeway noise was heard. Room was very clean and had many amenities such as in-room fridge and micro. Sofa was also hide-bed and space by window had a pad for a child to sleep on. This single could have slept 5 people. Good for a family extended vacation spot.Only problem I encountered was luke-warm water for Sun.AM. shower. The hot was gone by 0800. Overall a good place.

Reserved a suite in advance for 3 days. Received confirmation email guaranteeing room type. Upon arrival was told no suites available and that we would have to stay in a lower quality room. I refused and asked to cancel the whole reservation. Was told by the manager that was NOT going to happen and that I may as well stay because I was going to be charged regardless?? We ended up at a nice hotel downtown, where I immediately notified my credit card company of this attempt to defraud (aka overbooking). So as far as my actual review of the room/cleanliness etc., I really don't have a say, but the info was required in order to get this review posted. In actuality, I was only in the office area of the place for about 10 minutes. BUT it is in a badly designed area for traffic, and the management is obviously totally lacking in any form of professionalism and/or honesty.

The window seat in the room. The shower head. I thought this hotel was fine. The room was small but pretty and adequate. The breakfast was fine, nothing fancy. I liked the bed, it was one of the most comfortable I have ever had in a hotel. The linens were nice and comfortable. I loved the window seat, I just didn't have any time to use it.

I highly recommend the Microtel Hotel in Rapid City to all business guests as well as families. The best thing we like is that they are pet friendly. All of the rooms are very clean and have been newly remodeled. The beds are great with the new pillow top mattresses and the pillows and bedding are wonderful. It is absolute awesome to be able to take my pet with us when we travel. The staff gives wonderful service and are always very accommodating. This is one of my favorite hotels in Rapid City.

Very clean; good access to Interstate & shopping. Small rooms but very clean. Good value for the money. Close to shopping mall, tourist attractions, about 30 min from Sturgis. Staff was great.

The counter people were curt and not helpful. They wouldn't cash a 50 Amex Traveler's Check (""We stopped doing that a month ago."") Although the reservation was for two people, I was traveling alone. A rate adjustment was refused.

I have generally been very satisfied with service, cleanliness and room size (in two bed rooms) at Microtels and this was no exception. Rate was a little higher than most Microtels. Very hard to locate entrance due to construction.

The staff was exceptionally nice. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfast item selections were good. Overall it was a good choice for the price.

Rooms are very small and, although the time I visited was considered summer or high season, the price was too high compared to other hotels on my cross-country trip.
