Once upon a time, my friends nd i ordered a refreshing manggo shake. it was like a very bad day to keep us waiting for the shake to be served. it was very hot at that time & u won't have the courage to trust the building it is just an ordinary building to stay not so big. the lobby is very small and i cannot understand the color and art they're trying to portray. it seems like the design is quite much a trying hard species who existed nowadays. very much ordinary taste for their food to try and in order to give back the badness of their business they make the facilities affordable until it comes to the point that they will no longer fair enough to exist in the hotel & resort industry.

the hotel was fine but I felt the rooms did have a hospital feel to it. The colors were very pale and subdue compared to the vibrant lively feel of the lobby and other public areas. I feel there was no flow going into rooms from the public places. Although clean, the rooms made me feel like I was in a hospital than at a beach resort. It felt like 2 different places.

It was not bad although the colors were a bit hospital like for my taste. I wish the color scheme of the rooms matched the vibrant colors that welcome you in the lobby but it does not.

Was in the hotel for the Grand Opening It's a big event, considering that this particular Microtel is the biggest in the world with 161 rooms. The hotel itself surprised me because it is so unlike the other Microtels I've stayed in. The ambience is more hip, with funky furniture and brighter ornaments. Even the rooms have that retro feel. In fact, I was half-expecting Brini Maxwell to make a appearance! Credit to the funktastic hotel goes to the franchise owners, the young enterprising siblings Grand, Joy, Benedict, Mylene, and Enrison Benedicto. The poolside and beachfront are amazing. We were at the terrace and it didn't feel like we were in Cebu or in the Philippines at all. You just have to be there to experience it yourself. Even the food at Microtel Mactan is heaven. The kitchen's manned by acclaimed chef Jason Hyatt of nearby Abaca. I predict this place will attract a lot of foodies if only to enjoy the divine cuisine served here.

Very nice hotel. Everything is perfect from the rooms, to the lobby, restaurant and the beach area See if for yourself. The pictures do not do justice I highly recommend this to everyone. Great Value for money!

Great new hotel in Mactan. Value for money! It's still clean and a refreshing change from other stuffy hotels. Modern and no frills, I loved it.
