My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights. I was very impressed with the price and the service. The location off 27th street is very handy, seems like most anything you need is close by and downtown is only 10-15 minutes away. The only two negatives I have are 1) the hot tub was pretty badly in need of a water swap or something, it was downright murky. 2) boy are those walls thin! We had the misfortune of being in town the weekend of a Huskers game and the partiers were at it all night. To the hotel's credit the staff informed me the next day to be sure and contact them with any other noise issues as they would be taken care of, but that doesn't eliminate the fact that the noise from the parties and the herd of buffalo in the room above us was loud enough to keep our baby from sleeping most nights. Overall though this was a great place to stay and a great bang for our buck!

I drove several high school girls to the University of Nebraska Volleyball camp and they stayed in the dorms so I needed a place to stay. This hotel was only 1.5 miles from the dorms and was very easy to get to the university from this hotel. This hotel was on a quiet street and just off of 27th and Cornhusker Hwy where shopping and dining are easily accesible.

It was the closest one to where we came from. The room was pretty small. The hotel was fine.

I've stayed at this Microtel numerous times over the past four years. It's economical and close to UNL's East Campus, well-located for my purposes. The same family has owned and operated this motel for years and it's always been spotlessly clean. The continental breakfast has become a little more spare over the past two years, but the room rate has remained stable at $45-55 per night. It's a good, safe, and inexpensive motel choice in Lincoln.

Dirty room, smelled, cob webs, unable to control temperature cold or too hot. Lobby appearance was pretty good, but when we got to our floor the hallway needed to be cleaned. Looked like it hadn't been vacuumed for a while. I already stated the room was not good. I asked the man to clean the but cigarette butts out of the window he made an attempt, but left some there. The room smelled bad.

Used treadmill in fitness center; weight machine was a little clunky and of a type I wasn't familiar with so I couldn't do my full workout. Pool was really small so I didn't try it. Thought there would be a microwave in the room but there wasn't. Brought my own food for breakfast because as usual, the breakfast offered was not healthy. Not much room between the end of the beds and the dresser, but beds were comfy and it was fine for three girlfriends who just needed a place to sleep and shower. Missed a couple of turns in trying to find it using Google Map on iPhone, but found it tucked away behind a couple of major streets. Looked pretty new and was clean.

Manager was always cordial. Room was very clean and surprisingly stylish. Walls and ceilings a bit thin; comings and goings of other guests very audible. Extremely attentive management. Clean, comfortable and even stylish room. A safe, cozy place to stay on a budget.

Clean, friendly, great workout area. Micro really meant micro, the room was tiny, but clean.

Perfect for what we needed. They waived pet fee for show dogs! The train at night. For the price. The extra little room with fridge and microwave made it easy to keep our travel expenses down. We are hobby dog exhibitors with AKC, and would rather hotel it than buy an RV. This was the perfect set up for us. The couch and foam pad in the window seat would make it possible to bring our two girls with us. We plan on booking this hotel again for the next show in the spring.

In a quiet location, well maintained. Breakfast offering needs more variety. I liked this hotel, it was clean, well maintained, the room was just the right size for a solo biz traveler. The bed was very comfortable, the HD television was a nice touch, and a lot of the time I stay in hotels where the TV is so blurry as to be worthless. I had a good strong WiFi signal and plenty of bandwidth. I would make one change and that would be a better breakfast variety. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

For economy price, very clean and updated. Has HD TV service on flat panel LCD TVs. Continental breakfast was only rolls and cereal. Would've been nice to have fruit and other fresh options. The Lincoln, NE Microtel is great for one or two nights for the economic traveler. Fairly close to shopping sites, downtown, and easy access to University of Nebraska facilities.
