overall the hotel was nice. the service was pleasant. the room smelled awful. I went out and purchased a can of lysol. the toilet had a line of mold at the water line. The pool was clean but there were 4 cigarette butts floating on the pool. and six frogs. We were going to clean them out but the net was ripped and would not pick up debris. The location was great and easy to find. The problems were minor and did not ruin our visit.

My family and I recently stayed for one night in this Microtel and one night was one too many. When we arrived around 7pm, we were told they were updating their computers and would have to wait to check in. Once checked in, we were given a room on the second floor that had not been made up (beds not made/towels on the floor) so back down to the front desk again where this time we were "upgraded" to a suite on the third floor. The suite had one queen and a sleep sofa that I had to go back down to the front desk to get bed linens for and make up myself for my teenage daughter. The room had a non-smoking sign on the door but smelled like someone had been smoking in it (also an ash tray in the bathroom should have been a dead givaway) I'm not sure if it was the smell in the room or the dust on the carpet all the way around the room that caused me to wake up a severe allergy attack the next morning. The free continental breakfast was another disappointment. Very small selection of muffins and bagels...no hot foods. When checking out, the desk clerk hardly said anything to me. (very poor customer service) Needless to say, this will be my first and last time staying in a Microtel! Note: One other thing that disturbed me was while we were waiting to check in, a bus of men that were working nearby and had been staying there several nights, came in and said their room keys were not working so the desk clerk asked them their room numbers and re-keyed their cards without verifying that what room they said was really their room. Kind of made me feel unsafe...

We stayed at this hotel 12/26/2008 to 12/29/2008. Made our reservations and recieved confirmations and had paid in advance, in August, for one smoking suite and one non-smoking room with two beds. The lobby and hallways smelt of sewage the entire stay. The internet was down the entire stay. We were on the third floor and the ice machine was out of order, had to go to the first floor for ice. They did not have a smoking suite for us. We were told we could have a non-smoking suite and go outside to smoke. The guy at the desk pretty much blew us off. We ended up with a smoking regular room. No coffee maker, no refrigerator. My daughter had medicine that needed to be refrigerated, one reason why I paid for a suite. I'm sorry, but my husband and I are both 52 years old and we both smoke and when we get up in the morning, we like to relax with a cup of coffee and smoke. This is why I always make our reservations so far in advance and I usually get a suite or a cabin that allows us to smoke. My husband and I do travel quite a bit and we have family in Bushnell, this is one hotel that will never see another red cent from us.

The Microtel in Bushnell Fl That me and my partner stayed was very pleasing. I got a big room for our money and we enjoyed our stay very much. Next time we go visited family members in Florida we know were to stay.

Cozy, clean, comfortable and good location off highway. Elevator seemed like it was in a rush to get to the bottom. The hotel was quiet. The staff was friendly. Good color and pleasing to the eye. It was close to the highway and close to where I needed to go for business.

Staff was nice. Very noisy, police had to be called out and room was by exit could not sleep do to traffic. Overall stay was poor ,very noisy there was several disorderly people on grounds, so much so police were called by staff. Room was not clean carpet was torn. Room was located by exit to much traffic.

Location. They over authorize my Visa card, The first room the air conditioner didn't work. The linden hadn't been changed on the bed. I would recommend this hotel the staff is not always friendly. They over authorized my visa on two different occasions. The linen on the bed are no always clean. Poor at best. Very disappointed.
