Splash Water Park, Wonderland Park, and the Amarillo Zoo are all within a five mile radius of the Microtel Inn & Suites Amarillo. This was just a place to rest our heads after a long day of driving. It was old and not extremely clean. Wireless internet was a plus as was the free breakfast. Ok for the price. Unfortunately, there weren't many choices in Amarillo

We were attending the National Gymnastics Competition, and we could not have asked for a more pleasant hotel, staff, or location. Everyone went out of their way to help, give directions, and generally make the stay one that we enjoyed. This was one of our best experiences, especially since Micro-Tel is not considered to be a four star place to stay.

I think that it could have been a better quality for the price of the room. The next night I stayed in the same hotel for $20 less a night and it was 10X nicer and the room was much better.

Staff was friendly and knowledgable. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The only negative was the shower did not have great water pressure and did not drain very well.

The location and price is why I chose this hotel. The staff was very friendly, but the room and even the hotel had a very odd smell. The room was very cramped with a strange lay out, for instance, the bathroom sink and mirror were across from the bed and not in the bathroom. The fixtures were cheap but the room was clean. Did not partake in the free breakfast or use the pool/workout space.

It was clean, comfortable, accessible with a well lit parking lot, and the staff were super helpful and accomodating. I highly reccommend this hotel and I will be back to stay at this location for sure each time I am visiting in Amarillo.

I really enjoyed the spa and pool. The continental breakfast was also nice. The clerk at the front desk was a little rude but other than that my stay was great.

Rooms were very comfortable. Check in very friendly and helpful. Good price. Breakfast was a little skimpy. Both tread mills in workout room were broken. Everything else very good. Will use it again.

I found the Microtel Inn and Suites to be a bit spartan, but clean and neat. Food establishments were conveniently located nearby. I was very comfortable during my stay there.

We found the Microtel clean, the staff friendly, and the facilities reasonably well maintained. The whirlpool is very small, but works. The room size was more than adequate, the breakfast simple but with several choices.

This is a very comfortable hotel. It is clean and quiet. We had to be up at 5 AM to be at the hospital, and we went to bed early so the quiet was great.

It was just Okay! The build it self was pretty quiet the rooms were a little small clean bathrooms and breakfeast was bread and cereal. Really good coffee. First room we were in we realized after getting settled in on the first floor that the window did not lock so we had to pack everything up and move rooms. Other than that it was just Okay.
