My new husband and I chose to drive halfway on our way to Niagara Falls on the night of our wedding. We chose the Microtel Inn in Staunton. We did not arrive until 2 a.m. and were somewhat apprehensive about the location of the hotel and the check in process. We found the hotel to be very pleasant, the staff to be very understanding of our late check in, and the morning continental breakfast to be filling. The room and bathroom were on the small side; however, everything was super clean and comfortable.

The free breakfast, and cookies in the evening. Kind of small rooms but still ok for the price. This was my first stay in a MicroTel Inn and it was an overall pleasure. There was no outstanding feature that I noticed, but very clean, well maintained and comfortable.

The hotel room was unreasonably small. The staff was downright rude to me and other guests. Would not stay here again

THe staff was very friendly and the rooms very very, very clean. One of the best rooms we have stayed in for this price. The included breakfast was very good although the sitting area was lacking space and seats . This was our first stay at Microtel but will NOT be our last. We have found a new favorite hotel chain if they all are this good !!

The Microtel Inn Staunton was a great place to stay. The rooms, although small, were clean, modern and comfortable - and quiet. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We liked the breakfast and the staff were on hand to make sure nothing ran out even when it got crowded, the fact that they had breakfast available for a long time was really good. The pool was clean, the laundry facilities were very useful, and the view from the front of the hotel was great too. I wish they would open the Microtel chain on the west coast.

Central location. When we arrived there was a dirty wash cloth folded for show in the bathroom! Maid must have not seen the dirt! The room was adequate and the location central to everything we needed. The maid staff left something to be desired, but overall a very decent hotel.

The motel was clean and well maintained. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. Our room was good sized, but did not have a lot of amenities--no hair dryer, iron, or coffeemaker. The views from the motel were very scenic.

A great experience at the Microtel in Staunton! The hotel is situated a short distance off the main road above the town on knoll, very attractive. Staff were pleasant, friendly and the chocolate chips cookies were a treat. Room was comfortable & clean - environment was quiet. Good value for the price. As we headed north, we arranged our time to stay at another Microtel in the Baltimore area. I found these reviews very helpful to me in selecting this hotel initially. Would definitely choose a Microtel again!

The Microtel in Staunton, VA is excellently located within a few miles to the downtown shopping area and right up the hill from shopping and dining. The service was great and they treat you to homemade cookies every night. The view is out of this world of the Shenandoah Mountains.Rooms are modest with 2 double beds and a tv. Pool is outside.

The room was very clean. No lamp by the bed and the lighting over the bed was not adjustable, so it was too bright for reading. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The window seat was very nice. The only draw backs were no lamp to read by at the bed and the water pressure was kind of low. This is a non-smoking hotel and when we could smell smoke pretty strong when we came in at night and again in the morning, but this is not the fault of the hotel, just a guest not following rules.

Everything went well for us at the hotel. We met several friends for the annual Fortune/Williams Festival. The staff were all friendly. The rooms were clean. The front desk staff were very great allowing our "party" to meet in the breakfast area after the festival. I will definately stay here again and I know everyone in our party will stay there again.

We pass through here about twice a year. This is the first time we have stayed here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The chocolate chip cookies as you walked in were wonderful and a nice touch. They could use a little more at breakfast! I will look forward to staying there again on our next trip through.

This Microtel worked for us due to our budget. Reasonable cost with interent and contiental breakfast. But the rooms are a bit small and the staff is limited. The hotel was full the night we were there and they needed more staff to help with check in and with the breakfast.

It was clean and the staff friendly. The bed was a little hard and interior need some updating it had some cracks. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel for a short stay it was a two star hotel.

My daughter and I stayed in the hotel on a trip through the area. I selected the hotel based on location and prior reviews. Unfortunately, the hotel did not live up to my expectations based on those prior reviews. Our room was dirty and smelly. I would not recommend this hotel nor would I stop there again.

I was pleasantly surprised with the front desk and room service. Although the room was a little smaller than the average HoJo or Best Western, it was still comfortable. Free internet was a nice bonus. And to top it off, good continental breakfast and fresh cookies at night. Oh, and the bed was quite comfortable.

The hotel was easy to get to off the interstate which saved me valuable time. Rates were very afforable compared to other hotels in the area. An added bonus - free internet! Altogether, a clean affordable room in a convenient location.

Close to nearby restaurants, stores etc. Very clean comfortable beds, clean bathrooms. Overall very clean. Continental breakfast was too early in the morning. Enjoyed our two night stay. Everything was very clean and the rooms were very tidy. The bed was the most comfortable that I have ever slept on. Very quiet no inside or outside noises. A very nice hotel.

Worst WiFi I have ever experienced. Room was small, but adequate for an overnight stay for one traveler. Clean. OK value for money.
