It was close to the freeway. I only stopped during a long car ride, but it was a comfortable room for the night. For the price, I was actually quite impressed. Nice sheets. Pretty comfortable bed. Decent decore. Overall, I cannot complain.

Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast area was dirty. The hotel lobby was very warm and no air on. The check in clerk was very helpful for dinner plans. Beds were great and room was clean but small.

Could not even see the bottom of the pool, it was so dirty. The whirlpool had been broken down for two weeks. Manager seemed unconcerned. Breakfast room tiny, and breakfast mediocre. No one cleaned the area all morning. No coffee pots in the room. USA todays gone from front desk and vending by 9 AM. Beds comfortable, and price ok compared to other hotels in the area. Pay a little more if you can to stay somewhere nice. Dont stay here.

The Microtel in Beckley was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. I was very suprised at how nice the hotel was. We paid a little more than the other hotels but it was well worth it. The room had 2 queen beds and a window seat that my daughter claimed as her bed. The pool was indoor and really nice. My daughter loved that she only had to walk down the hall to swim. We are going back again next year and will stay at this hotel again.

If you are all about saving money and do not care about the bedding or the carpet being clean then this just might be the hotel for you. When I checked in and mentioned that there where blood stains, socks and other debris on, under or around my bed the young man working the disk shrugged his shoulders and asked if I wanted my money back! I promptly checked into another hotel close by. I have stated in other Microtels in other places. I hear the new one that opened up is much cleanier and a little pricier....but you get what you pay for!

We stayed one night on our way from NC to IN for a family visit. We arrived quite late and were pleased to find that there were no hassles checking in. Even our dog enjoyed the stay (probably just glad to be out of the car). Great value!!!

This microtel was very nice and clean. The front desk staff were helpful. Check in and check out was very speedy. The contienatal brekafast was nice. The pool was perfect for the kids to relax a little bit. It is in a great area off the interstate (but not so close that you had to hear lots of traffic noise. There were a variety of resturants around. We would definetly stay here again.

Conveniently off inter-state. Small rooms. Great price with indoor pool, clean rooms and shower, breakfast, etc. Highly recommend the facility.

"I was planning a ski trip for some friends and myself. I shopped around various travel websites for the ""best bang for my buck."" There were a few that were in the running, however, Microtel was significantly cheaper than other local hotels. The reviews were better than other places as well so I decided to go with this hotel. The staff was friendly, the hotel was close to the interstate and dining. The room was nicer than I expected considering the price. I have stayed at far worse places and paid far more for my stay."

My Husband and I were very pleased at the price of the room and the cleaniness of it. I was kinda of expecting a little run down hotel and I was excited when I saw how nice and clean it was. I didn't get a chance to use the pool area but it looked great. I do think the continental breakfast good use a little bigger space. I am saying this because when we went down to it one family took up all three tables and there wasn't a place to sit. But overall it was a great visit.
