Lovely beachfront location. Very large hotel. Inside of hotel including the room was a bit dated. Price of the room was low and for the money it was a good hotel if a little north of the main centre of South Beach.

the way this hotel is presented on the web site doesn't reflect the reality.... we were there for a romantic weekend and hotel was the dissapointing part of our trip. hotel was full of kids and teenages, we had to wait for elevator for more that 20 min. we felt like we are in a kids camp:) our bathroom had mold on the walls and ceiling and water was not running through. I informed hotels manager about certain inconvenience that we were facing, and she promissed to change the room next day. Well, It never happenned, even the following day and the day after...the only respond I was getting- "sorry, nothing is available, please have free breakfast", which was not in my intrest! I can pay for my breakfast, but I can't fix and clean hotels bathroom:):)

The rooms were old, smelled, and bedding was old and faded. There were also bugs in the bed.

Rooms are huge and very clean. Hotel is right on the beach. Quick check in. The restaurant is a bit expensive and so is the breakfast, but the wait staff are very good. The service you receive is great though in every aspect. Also very relaxing

Overall, the hotel is OK. The problem is this hotel does not have parking lot for guests. Valet parking is mandatory for 22/day plus tips. I took my car out several times per day isn't fun at all (tips every time and the time waiting for my car). Oh, don't touch anything from the mini refrigerator in the room (not free). They are so expensive.

Nice ambiance, lobby and rooms. Great place if you do not want to leave room or poolside and you do no mind expensive restaurants, parking and shops fees. Not good if you wanted to be on the trip for happening places.

Being a New Yorker, you have high expectations (it's in our blood I guess :-) ) So reading the mixed reviews about this hotel had me a bit skeptical. Thankfully, it was certainly all that it was cracked up to be. Upon arriving we had a bit of a discouraging scare when we were told our room was ready for us, and we go up to find the people before us had literally just left...so the room was not made...Considering we got there relatively early in the morning, finding out they usually only let people check in @ 4,we just threw the bikinis on and headed for the pool. By the time we got back up, it was in tip-top shape; so it certainly wasn't a big deal. We were in a "Partial Ocean View' which gave us the best of both worlds having the bay to the left and the ocean on the right. BEAUTIFUL Lobby/Outdoor Pool & bar area &10 min away from South Beach (10 cab ride). Spa was great and the massages were amazing! Extremely friendly & courteous staff. It's certainly a place for both family and friend getaways...So if you know how to roll with the punches and make the best of your trip then STAY HERE! If you are a constant complainer then stay @ the Delano for 5,000/night. Looking forward to my next stay down there!!

Not bad for the price. Location was not convenient if you don't have a car. Rooms are noisy, my door squeaked loudly, elevators were very slow, TV express checkout did not work. Housekeeping did not give me new lotion/shampoo, the bottles were not changed from the last guest It's fine as a place to sleep, but it didn't blow me away. But for the price, it was acceptable.

The entrance is beautiful, the rooms cute. The food okay. The rooms not completely clean. The access to the beach was great, but the cab ride to South Beach takes forever. We wouldn't stay there again due to the noise issues. They had a party going on with techno music so loud that things in our room vibrated. When we called down at eleven, we were told that they would have them lower the music, but it would be over at midnight anyway. Nope, 12:20 am, music still pounding. Also, you could hear everything going on in the room next to you and we could not sleep the entire time there.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The lobby is grand and beautiful. The staff friendly and approachable. The rooms were clean well equipped with a good side view of the ocean. Very good value for the cost of room.

Not a 4 star hotel by any means, at best 2.5. Room was very clean but very outdated. Pool was nice and beach area was within steps of the hotel grounds. Parking was very bad. A parking charge of 22 dollars per day then a resort fee of 10 dollars per day add 32 dollars a day.

If you want to experience Miami Beach without all the crowds, noise and excessive energy of South Beach, this is the ideal place. The atmosphere is very pleasant. It is easy to get in and out of. Access to the beach is just out the back door and is very nice. I will go back there without hesitation.

A nice hotel. Had a large group of people come in at the same time and where in no way ready. Lobby was so full could not get into it. Luggage was everywhere, rooms were not ready. Said would call cell when room ready did not. The best part was pretty beach and beach bar staff was very friendly and go out of there way. Front desk needs work on customer satisfaction.

The hotel itself was more luxurious than the actual guest rooms. The rooms were very dated and in need of an update and minor repair. I loved the huge closets but the "tub" was more of a shower stall. It would have been nice if it had balconies since it was so close to the beach. The front desk staff was nice and the food was good. The valet staff is in much need of re-training on professionalism. The resort and parking fees added another $100 to my trip, it would have been nice to know that wasn't included prior to booking.
