Thandwe Airport (Ngapali Beach) will be closed every Tuesday and Wednesday as of 1 February until mid April 2006 due to renovation of the runway. Domestic flights will not operate on these days.

My fiance and I spent more than a week at Micasa. Our room did feel like home. We enjoyed the kitchen room. The whole room in general is a decent size. The breakfast was great, we both enjoyed of American dishes, Chinese, Japanese and the Burmese traditional food. We wouldn't feel hungry again until almost dark. There is a pool which was given maintenance every morning and the staff seemed friendly. They also have a gym room and a children play room. I just thought their laundry service was ridiculously overpriced. Sometimes our room would get a super good cleaning and other times it lacked. On the other hand, we were shown good hospitality even before our stay there began. One can get a good price booking directly through them. It was a pleasant stay at Micasa for us and we will like to stay in Micasa Hotel again when we spend time together in Yangon.
