Hotel was very central to shops, restaurants and the beach at Juan les Pins. It was welcoming and the managers were so helpful. Rooms were basic but acceptable. Beds were clean and towels replaced daily. Air conditioning was fantastic and aided sleep at night. A little english was spoken by the managers which was of great help to me, as my french is not even basic! Only problem was noise from the nearby night club (until 2am) on one or two nights, although the double glazing helped drown the noise a bit. As a holiday hotel, with reasonable rates, I would definitely recommend the Mexicana Hotel. The helpfulness of the managers and its general location were fantastic.

Owners were unfriendly after hearing 'disturbances' and noises that were apparently from us. We had a school-style sit-down and telling off from the manager, in which we were told that we were no longer allowed to bring alcohol into the hotel(it was claimed that this was already a rule;neither the rule book nor the initial explanation showed any evidence of this) followed by a week of bad looks and general unfriendliness as we walked through the lobby.

excellent solution for short holidays in Juan Les Pins and Antibes (very close). Central position in crowded road at night. The road is accessible in the morning only for luggage pick-up. Ask the proprietary, very gentle and welcoming people also speaking Italian. Confortable rooms were we spent a relaxing time after the hours under the sun

Four of us [4 ladies] stayed for one week at the Mexicana in Juan-les-Pins. It met all our expectations. M & Mme Ritzen were excellent hosts who met our every request with great grace. We became good friends with them and hope to return. Our only adverse comment would be that the towels, whilst clean [and regularly changed] were rather grey and a bit off-putting at first. Cleanliness was first-class and we had a great breakfast [at a small charge] every morning. The website instructions for getting from Nice to Juan-les-Pins were vague, and not helpful.

What a great place...Even though the owners didn't speak English and my French is very minimal,we managed to communicate thru sign language..When I arrived my confirmed reservaation was not to be found. They however did give me a lovely room,I'm sure larger than the one I ordered. They couldn't have been more welcoming..A more detailed map from the train station would have been a God-send...Would re-book in a minute

Good price/quality ratio. Neat place. Nicely decorated in public areas. Street noise OK provided windows are closed. Hotel itself safe and quiet. Air conditioning OK. Right in the middle of the little town and a stone's throw from the beach. Large triple/quadruple room available. Only problem: the shower curtains. Hotel should rather place cubicles.

The hotel is located in the busiest street og juan les pins, surrounded by restaurants and bars- the street is closed for cars, so it was hard to find the hotel. The parking is not in the hotel but in another- 10 min. to walk. The rooms were spacious but a little grubby and old- for ex: our shower had no fitting and the towels were grey but white. All in all I would recommend the Mexicana to low- budget tourists, who don´t wanna stay there to long

Buon rapporto qualità prezzo, camera spaziosa forse un pò di polvere sui lampadari .... ha corrisposto a pieno alle aspettative sia rispetto alla struttura che alla localizzazione. La proprietaria è molto disponibile e affabile.

I stayed at the hotel for one week with two girlfriends and we all enjoyed our stay very much since first of all the location of the hotel is absolutely great - it's really only about 100m from the hotel to the beach, plus the street/area where the hotel is located offers a huge variety of restaurants, excellent cocktail-bars (I can highly recommend the "Crystal"), nice clubs, little clothing and souvenir-stores, etc. Plus the athmosphere in the hotel was very friendly, we got welcomed from the hotel owner and she kept "looking after" us for the rest of our stay, asking us how we liked everything, giving us advice about where to go, etc. We would all recommend the hotel to other young people as well as families and would go there anytime again.

Ottima accoglienza in francese.Camere ampie pulite, servizi igienici vetusti. Camere mostruosamente rumorose, l'hotel è in pieno centro. cmq consigliato per giovani

We were 2 girls sharing. Although the woman running the hotel has little English she makes up for it through hospitality and if you have a small bit of French its fine. Location is very good the restaurants outside are really nice and we found better value than on the beach. Would stay again, very good value!

Everything was quite fine except the fact that the hotel owner doesn't speak any other language than French, neither English nor German. Rooms are very plain, but spacious and clean. Anyway, location is very good, close to the sea promenade and some nice restaurants. A bit of noise comes out of the street, but the windows have a proper sound isolation. The only thing i want to mention to the location - it's not THAT close to the "La Regence" bus stop (if you go to Juan le Pins from Nice airport by bus) as it's described in prospect.

Location is perfect, write on the walking street with most restaurants, bars, cafe's around - very lively in the evenings. Very close to the sea too. Rooms are VERY basic, but we didn't spend much time in. Our room (18) had a window to a busy corner, but new double-glazing kept all the street noise out. The only noise we heard was from the sewerage system, quite annoying. In general - great value for money (very little money comparing to other places).
