while i was there i was on a business trip so i was in the room just to change clothes or to sleep. every thing in the hotel was great and i didnt needed anything at the time. the hotel is a little different and but i like it! the staff are very nice and if you need something they were there when i needed a thing.

I chose this hotel because it was downtown and seemed close to everything, which for the most part was true. The bathroom was the best feature, although I thought all rooms had separate bath tubs from the showers, and mine was a combo. The sauna and pool/gym facilities were very clean. The staff was helpful. It is downtown, so don't expect peace and quiet or beautiful views, but if you don't mind the urban atmosphere, and love to shop, stay here.

Loved the bathroom and especially the bathtub. A great place to stay centrally located in Vancouver.

The room was spacious as well as the bathroom and everything was very clean. The employees were very nice and helpful. The location of this hotel is excellent. It is a 10 minute walk to Canada Place, 15 minutes to Gastown and 5 minutes to Robson Street. The Pacific Shopping Centre is in front of the hotel.

This hotel was a great experience and I highly recommend it. I got to stay cheap because there was construction next door, but it never bothered me once. A great deal. The people were all nice and helpful: I lost my glasses, they found and brought them to my room. I locked myself out of my room, they instantly came and let me in, but also checked my ID...amazing how many places don't have such common sense. The room was great and clean. Only downside is no WiFi in the rooms, just a hard line Ethernet cable, but thats just nitpicking.

this is a great hotel, located across the street from a large mall with over two hundred shops. and a food court. you wont need your car here. the staff is also great and helpful in every way. we checked in early and asked to check out later because of our return flight. this was not a problem, being the hotel was booked for saturday guest. we did not dine at the hotel however we did receive very good advise as to the local restaurants. overall we had a great time. and would visit again. this is first class in all respects. and well worth a visit.

An upscale hotel right in the heart of Vancouver! The room was spotless, the linens luxurious, the bathroom was all marble and very spa-like. The hotel was quiet, the staff friendly and helpful. They had a business center with a computer, printer & fax. It was within walking distance to the Art Museum, resturants, and lots of great shopping. Who could ask for more? We loved it!

The staff were very friendly and helpfully. The room appeared to have recently been remodeled, and exceeded expectations. Very convenient location downtown, highly recommended.

Amazing location, and nice decor. Also free internet at the business center. The elevators! There are only two elevators for this large hotel! Extremely inconvenient! The hotel is located right in the hear of downtown Vancouver, and close to the airport. It has very nice decor, and the rooms are large and quite comfortable. There was only one big problem, and that is the hotel's elevators. There are only two elevators for this large hotel, and every time we had to wait 10-15 minutes for the elevator to reach our floor. It was extremely annoying! This hotel was an excellent choice.

While we only stayed one night, after cruise and before traveling home, we were very happy with this hotel. The staff truly made you feel welcome. The room was great, bed so comfortable. Used the computers to print out boarding passes, no charge. The pool looked really nice although didn't have a chance to use it. We opted to go out to dinner rather than use the restaurant, so can't review it. While in Vancouver we hopped aboard the Vancover Trolly a hop off and on narrarated tour! It was a great way to explore Vancouver, a really clean and lovely city. Also, bought the Vistor's booklet and it saved us money on the trolley, the aquarium, and the lookout. A good deal.

This is a wonderful hotel. The location is very convenient, there is a bus stop just steps away, and many sites are within walking distance. The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms are well appointed and spacious and the balcony, even without much of a view, is a nice addition allowing one to get out in the fresh air without leaving the hotel. The separate, glass enclosed shower is the best hotel shower I have ever experienced! I will stay here again.

Top notch, high quality, beautiful, clean room. Very comfortable bedding and nice staff. No complaints. Pricey, but saved quite a bit through Orbitz off the price on the hotel's website. Very satisfied.

Good location and nice hotel. I have stayed at almost all the 4 star hotels in Vancouver and this was one of the better, but I would assume the price would be much higher if there wasn't neighbouring construction.

Location was great in the heart of the city, east to get out of city when trip was done. The overall elevator situation, loud and long waits. Pleasant experience for a brief stay.

The Metropolitan is a great location and a very nice hotel. The staff and concierge were extremely helpful and very attentive but not so attentive that they are pests. The restaurant in the hotel was rated very high although we did not go there for dinner as there are hundreds of great restaurants in Vancouver and we wanted to get out and around. Location is perfect, just 5 minutes from the high end shopping district and we walked just about anywhere. Taxi fares are about $ bucks to just about anywhere you are going to go in the city. Pool is indoors and not that large but the hot tub is nice after long days of walking. Exercise room is pretty good although you might want to bring your own heart rate monitor as some machines were older and the sensors were worn a bit. In short, I would highly recommend staying at this hotel as the rooms were comfortable, the bathrooms were nice and large, Tv is flat screen and we had free internet with the Travel agency package.
