We have read the reviews of this hotel and sorry guys but have to disagree. I am normally a 4star person but I have to say that this hotel really was surprising. I was impressed by the pool rooms non-smoking and the continental breakfast was very adequate considering the price of the hotel. We enjoyed our stay so much that we will be booking to come back early next year. The coffee is decaf too in the lounge and a welcome addition. overall I was very impressed by the attitude of the staff too.

The hotel was comfortable. Location fantastic for our visits to Universal Studios/Island of Adventure. Convenient to many restaurants and activites on I-Drive. Our window faced very closely to the building next door and the service/trash area. Our safe was inoperable so we were offered another room should one become available. Staff never contacted us to say that a room was available. Complimentary breakfast was billed as expanded continental to include fruit. It actually consisted of bread/toast, bagels, cereal, and muffins. The toast was good. All in all, we would stay there again for the price and location.

The staff was friendly. I did not feel comfortable or safe. Had the feeling of a motel.

Check in was quick and friendly. Rooms very small, blankets had holes in them and musty smell in hallway outside room door. Good location, close to everything.

First, there was a huge black moth on the curtain and later on there was a ROACH crawling across the night stand. Second, the HANDLE ON THE BATHROOM DOOR WAS BACKWARDS. I don't know why. Maybe, if your kid misbehaved you could lock them in there. Ridiculous. Third, the TOILET RAN 24/7. Well, It would run for about a minute then shut off for around 10 seconds then start again. We got use to it but if you're a lite sleeper it would drive you crazy. Fourth, housekeeping tried opening the door at 10:11am. No, wait, HOUSEKEEPING DID OPEN THE DOOR AT 10:11AM. If we hadn't had the latch on she would've come in. Check out isn't until 11am, why was she there? Fifth, they give you a paper when you check in with a map of the hotel, check in/out times, and other info. It does say if you need to extend your check out time to call the front desk. I called the front desk to politely ask just that and before I was finished the front desk clerk was already saying no. SHE WAS WASN'T EVEN NICE ABOUT IT. Sixth, we later found out that we had left a set of keys in the nightstand. To make a long story short, housekeeping found them but HOUSEKEEPING HAD ALREADY LEFT AND NOBODY HAD A KEY TO HOUSEKEEPING TO GET OUR KEYS BACK. WE DIDN'T GET THE KEYS BACK UNTIL THE 3RD TIME WE WENT BACK TO GET THEM. Thank god we live near the area. The best part about staying here is there's a Twisty Treat across the street. GREAT ICE CREAM, HORRIBLE HOTEL.

i was so worry for choose the hotel because we didn't see it and already pay for it by travelocity with no refund policy but when we went there and see the hotel we was so happy so neat and clean and stuff was so helpful and walking distance from universal studio that's why we save 12 dollars parking fee also and they have a shuttles. we decide in future we just stay on this hotel.

Pros: On I-Drive very close to many things, walked to Wet N Wild, also very cheap at 42$ a night. Room service came in and did their job etc Cons: Very ghetto inside, very ugly - hotel says its refurbished but its a piece of junk that should be demolished and redone again. I stayed there 2 nights and my toilet backed up atleast 3 times and the sink handle broke off lol it was already broken. The stairways had ripped carpet it was like cut up, looks unfinished to me but seems to be like that always.... went to bed in shorts and my legs started itching so i had to put on long pjs :( Breakfast was free but sucked but hey it was free so I didnt complain but there was a disgruntled worker complaining about people not picking up after themselves and that she was not a maid lol. It was VERY VERY busy and they had one worker for the breakfast thing. She was loud and made a big scene and even got in to an altercation with a lady about her kids. Apparently the kids ate and did not throw away their plate and she got all upset to where EVERYONE could hear about it lol. . . Well all I can say is , if you cant afford better go here otherwise spend a lil bit more to go somewhere else. I will not be returning here. Ill for 10 more dollars to take a chance of getting something better!

Nice helpful staff, central location. One way in/out, middle of International drive, heavy traffic on most nights. Certain halls in the hotel had a very odd odor but the area I stayed in was fine. This location is central to almost everything but the traffic is very heavy on most nights. Plan on being out of the parking lot by 5 if you want to get anywhere in less than one hour. Many restaurants and attractions in walking distance as well as several pubs. The pool seems to be very well maintained and the free breakfast is decent. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in a good location. The room price is good. That is where the good news ends. The rooms are not clean - old and musty. Towels and bed sheets had hairs on them that were not ours! Customer service is minimal. Would look elsewhere for a bargain.

We had a very enjoyable time at this hotel. It was so clean. The beds werevery comfortable. All our needs were met. The staff was excellent. Therewas free coffee and tea 24/7 in the lobby. Also, a coffee pot was in the room. The lobby had a 60 in TV with a couch and three surrounding chairs. Weused the high speed internet in this area. The combination game room andbreakfast room looked new. You could have your choice of coffee, tea, orange juice, apple juice, water. For food: cereals, toast, bagels, delicious varieties of muffins, all types of danish pastries, fresh bananas, apples, and oranges. This was included in the room price. Absolutely the best continentalbreakfast we have every had. If anyone complains about this spread, theyshould go out and pay for a greasy breakfast at a nearby restaurant. We were right next door to a Dairy Queen which had the same deliciousice cream with chocolate dip we remembered from years past. The nextdoor down was a supermarket and a gift shop. Across the street wasa Ponderosa. A mile away was the always fabulous Golden Corrall. Ashuttle bus was provided to take people to and from the attractions. The pool area was delightful! We never sat on thick-cushioned loungechairs. All the furniture at the pool had thick cushions! Two granite tableswere outside the breakfast room. One with an umbrella. Even thoughthe hotel is located on International Drive, we had peace and quiet eachevening. The day we left we exchanged hugs with the maid. She wassuch a sincere hard-working woman. A typical employee of the hotel..A really great value.

Great deal for a room across from wet n wild and minutes to universal. Free cold breakfast (muffins, cereal, bagels, etc.) from 6;30-9:30. Perfect location for a family, adjacent to all the fun stuff.

Cheap. Dirty. Rooms were cleaner than I expected based on other reviews. However, hallways were dirty and stairwells too. They made me pay $3 for a "resort" fee. Not cool.

the first night we arrived the room was super clean the front desk was super friendly. but i booked the hotel w pool view and when i got there they gave me a parking view when i went to ask why they told me all they had available was one with a connection door which at the moment i was okay but if i booked the reservation with a week in advance they should realize it. the next day we left the room early and when we came late at night the room wasnt clean and we had no clean towel i called the front desk again and the lady was really rude she told me we had a not disturd sign which we didnt to be more honest i never saw that sign in the room. i ask for clean towels which she said she was going to send and never did we had to use our beach towel. i called back 2 hour later and they told me they had no room cleaning at that time and we had to wait till teh morning. i will never stay here again. the hotel is good for the price and clean but the service personal should be more friendly

We stayed for three nights and it was ok you could just tell that it was an old hotel with some new paint. Bathrooms were ok nothing great with the shower head. Carpets in the hall were dirty they should have some one clean them. Also the breakfast is not good just plan to eat breakfast out. Also the resturants around yuck go to downtown disney and eat just $10.00 dollars more a Plus there is a Tasty treat across the street.

This hotel was a major disappointment for a 2 1/2 star hotel. Air conditioner did not work in room, door hinge on stair door was broken, room not ready at 4:00 pm check in. Overall condition of room was poor. This hotel is at best a 1 star.

Well is too many things, the person that work in the front desk have a bad attitude with the customers and she is soo rude, i went there for just one day coming from miami FL, and i was waiting the same thing that i saw at the pictures. the carpet between room is nasty, the room smell like old, went i came in, a lot of advertisement for pizza was inside the room on the floor and a/c was sound loud but no cold air jajajajaajja, ohhhh and the last one, i went in the bathroom and the toilet was broke, no refill water in the tank, after all this things i decide never come back there, spend 20 $ more, and im sure you will find someting better......
