We have read the reviews of this hotel and sorry guys but have to disagree. I am normally a 4star person but I have to say that this hotel really was surprising. I was impressed by the pool rooms non-smoking and the continental breakfast was very adequate considering the price of the hotel. We enjoyed our stay so much that we will be booking to come back early next year. The coffee is decaf too in the lounge and a welcome addition. overall I was very impressed by the attitude of the staff too.

Certain halls in the hotel had a very odd odor but the area I stayed in was fine. This location is central to almost everything but the traffic is very heavy on most nights. Plan on being out of the parking lot by 5 if you want to get anywhere in less than one hour. Many restaurants and attractions in walking distance as well as several pubs. The pool seems to be very well maintained and the free breakfast is decent. The staff is friendly and helpful.

i was so worry for choose the hotel because we didn't see it and already pay for it by travelocity with no refund policy but when we went there and see the hotel we was so happy so neat and clean and stuff was so helpful and walking distance from universal studio that's why we save 12 dollars parking fee also and they have a shuttles. we decide in future we just stay on this hotel.

Rooms were cleaner than I expected based on other reviews. However, hallways were dirty and stairwells too. They made me pay $3 for a "resort" fee. Not cool.

We had a very enjoyable time at this hotel. It was so clean. The beds werevery comfortable. All our needs were met. The staff was excellent. Therewas free coffee and tea 24/7 in the lobby. Also, a coffee pot was in the room. The lobby had a 60 in TV with a couch and three surrounding chairs. Weused the high speed internet in this area. The combination game room andbreakfast room looked new. You could have your choice of coffee, tea, orange juice, apple juice, water. For food: cereals, toast, bagels, delicious varieties of muffins, all types of danish pastries, fresh bananas, apples, and oranges. This was included in the room price. Absolutely the best continentalbreakfast we have every had. If anyone complains about this spread, theyshould go out and pay for a greasy breakfast at a nearby restaurant. We were right next door to a Dairy Queen which had the same deliciousice cream with chocolate dip we remembered from years past. The nextdoor down was a supermarket and a gift shop. Across the street wasa Ponderosa. A mile away was the always fabulous Golden Corrall. Ashuttle bus was provided to take people to and from the attractions. The pool area was delightful! We never sat on thick-cushioned loungechairs. All the furniture at the pool had thick cushions! Two granite tableswere outside the breakfast room. One with an umbrella. Even thoughthe hotel is located on International Drive, we had peace and quiet eachevening. The day we left we exchanged hugs with the maid. She wassuch a sincere hard-working woman. A typical employee of the hotel..A really great value.

We only booked 5 nights out of 10 nights in Orlando. Great location, right on I drive and you can hop on/off the trolley. Disappointed that there was no shuttle to Universal, but you can walk it if you want. Complimentary breakfast was an added bonus. Also free coffee and tea in lobby. I can understand people complaining about traffic noise, but maybe you can request a room change as I could not hear the traffic at all from my room. Also you can catch a bus to Disneyland if you miss the free shuttle or want to stay longer.

First of all the room was clean. That was a good thing. Secondly, the staff when we first arrived put us off, 1) They had no reservation for us, however when I produced the confirmation print out they honored it. 2) We could not check in until 4:00 when we arrived at 1:00, and they said try again at 2:30, we ate and returned at 2:30 and they dismissed us rudely, however 15 minutes later when the afternoon staff came in -SURPRISE- a room miraculously was available. 3) A resort charge of $3.19 per day was added. This wasn't even a hotel let alone a resort. Just a newly painted motel. 4) The lobby internet wasn't working, granted that wasn't their fault. Thirdly, the breakfast was awful as far as breakfasts go. It was bread and bagels, not even English muffins or waffles. Oranges and apples and cold cereal. We are used to the AmeriSuites at the airport. Eggs, sausage, grits, waffles, microwave. We actually avoided breakfast and went down the street. I would not recommend this motel to anyone and if I get another hotel of this quality in this area I will avoid International Blvd. We have had great success in the airport area of Orlando and will continue to go there. We have also had success in other parts of the country. This motel should not carry a 2-1/2 rating, not even close. It did have a good location.

At first glance it looks like a nice hotel. There are even TVs on the outside of the lobby area. I thought this would be a nice hotel since it was a 2.5-star, wrong. The lobby looks nice but is deceiving. The layout is very confusing. I'm not kidding when I say I got lost several times. At one point I called my husband and told him that I was lost and I felt like I was in the movie The Shining. There are no elevators so you have to carry your luggage up to the second floor. The hall way carpet is stained and outdated and the stairwells smell horrible. My husband described it as "smelly feet". We also had to be moved twice. The first room was by the interstate which was so noisy we could not sleep and the air conditioner did not work properly. I called and was told the only room available was smoking. I thought I wouldn't care as long as it wasn't noisy. My husband (who smokes) took one foot in the room and gagged. I couldn't even enter the room it smelled so heavy of mold and smoke. We left our bags in the doorway and went back down stairs. The last room was decent and at 2 am and after dragging our bags around I was exhausted. Another thing was that the internet was only available in the lobby - not in the rooms as listed on their web site. I work when out of town and it was a pain to go through the maze of rooms to the lobby. It says it has been updated but they must be referring to lobby. The rooms are tacky with green walls. It has a nice pool area and a regular toast and muffin breakfast. Thank God we were always gone during the day and came back late at night or I would have gone crazy. This was truly a disappointment.

They charged an extra $12.00 for my stay and listed it as a resort fee. This motel was far from being a resort and did not rate the star rating it received. The included breakfast was very meager and not worth the effort. The listed internet service was only available in the lobby.

Don't even bother showing up to see if it's really as bad as all the reviews. It was clear the room had sustained significant water damage in the past, warping the walls and allowing mold to grow around the air conditioner. The bed linens were soiled and the bathroom drain assembly fell apart in my hands. Rusting fixtures had just been painted over. If you have asthma, small children or elderly in your party, or if your immune system is weakened, this hotel will make someone seriously ill. Staff were rude and unaccommodating.

This hotel was just OK. Not what I thought it should be, and there was a $3.10 per day resort fee, I am still trying to figure out what that is for, there was nothing resort like, except the fee.
