Description:
The Hotel Metropole, Sliema Malta enjoys a great location minutes from a fabulous sea side promenade which is the pride and joy of the smart residential area of Sliema. It is just 15 mins. walk around the bay to St. Julian's passing by cafe kiosks, restaurants, bars, swimming clubs and Mediterranean life in general. At night time especially, St. Julian's and Paceville come to life and offer all forms of entertainment including the now famous Dragonara International Casino. Sliema itself is the mecca for high fashion and shopping and its busy harbour just 10 minutes away from the Hotel, where ferries leave for cruises and crossings to Valletta, has an atmosphere all to itself. Being in the heart of this exciting area makes the hotel special and having a bus stop just meters away allows accessibility to all other areas of the Island. The Hotel Reception supply all the relevant information needed to organize personal tours and book a range of excursions, including diving tours, tours around the Island and much more. Low cost airlines flying to Malta, make planning your holiday so much easier.

Just came back from a fab 2 weeks in Malta. The weather might have been better but the welcome given at the Metropole thoroughly made up for the gloomy skies. The rooms are good value for money and the food was ok too.. The staff helped us loads in booking tours etc.. for us - nothing was too much trouble. The reviews online do not do the hotel justice. True, there are bad rooms (had a peek while walking through one corridor) but the staff help out and move you instantly if you let them know. and there again, the location was excellent, couple mins. away from the promenade and buses to practically everywhere.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Metropole Hotel in Sliema, Malta, what with its excellent location and really great prices.. The staff are friendly and polite too, the food good and the rooms adequate and clean. Will definitely be back!!

I don't travel often so can't really compare much but found the reception desk staff very helpful and friendly even if the rooms were not very clean. The beds seem quite new and were very comfortable. Breakfas was ok but would not eat in for dinner as prices a bit costly.

Hotel low downOk so everything and I mean everything needs to be updated. Its quite clean but only if you don't look to hard and its in a good location 3 min from the sea front . I would never stay there for a weeks holiday but for a quick stop over for the price is surely one of the best deals I have ever had. If your looking for bargain basement accommodation that's safe and clean go for it.If your looking for a nice hotel for your holiday that you want to unwind in and spend time forget it.

Pre cruise stayQuiet position in Sliema but very near promenade and eating places. 20 mins walk to ferry for Valletta (94euros single-10 min trip) so quite handy and did that several times. Stayed in economy twin bed room which was clean and adequate for our purpose. Common areas fine and staff helpful. Restaurant area OK but food only average. Outstanding value for money and would use again.

Value for money!!!!!! wasn't sure initially because i read mixed reviews before booking, but glad I did.great value for money.although i didn't have a view or much natural light, the location made up for it. close to everything- shops, bus routes, restaurants, harbours and small beach. They have great play areas for kids near the sea.

Fab Budget HotelMy mum and I booked a standard room at this hotel at the last min for the budget price of 70 euros for a week with conti breakfast included....No I hear you you say at that price it must be really bad...NO ! let me tell tell how good it was ...the room was spotless, clean sleets every day and clean towels every day it was a fair size with a large wardrobe and not forgetting the sat telly(which you have to leave a deposit for the remote )the staff were lovely reception and domestics all had a lovely smile for you and eager to help, this is an old hotel and does need a facelift but then it has character.Yes I would book again in a min.

The room equipment was acceptable, but had no view as the only window was opening on a kind of pit and artificial light was needed at all times. It was also very noisy because there were 3 air conditioning compressors at the level of the window. Also the room was located next to the lift at the begining of a long corridor giving access to the other rooms.

A queste condizioni consigliatissimo.
