I like the location of this hotel, it is ideally situated in macau city central. Shopping and eating places are easily accessible around the hotel surronding streets. Though the hotel is relatively old, not much facilities. The room is pretty clean and neat. Dim sum in the chinese restaurant at 2nd storey is not bad too.

It was a very good deal for the location it was in. If you don't plan to spend much time in your hotel and mostly go around to see the sights, especially if you're on a budget, this hotel is quite adequate. Especially because most of the interesting sights are within walking distance, and there are many bus stops nearby. My only complaint is that the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. If not for that, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if I return to Macau.

The hotel room is very nice and spacious as we just come back from HK. The toilet is 4x bigger than the HK one. Compare to HK's accomodation, Metropole is Heaven. Is near to casino and walking distance from the "Tai Sam Pah" tourist area, very convinient. All positive!

Metropole Hotel has an excellent location. The rooms were spacious. The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly. The rates were slightly steep but good value for money. I would recommend this hotel.

The location was really good. Close to main square so was easy to walk around. Average fine. i will stay there again if i go to Macau again.

the only plus factor of the hotel is its accessibility to senado square and several hotels/casinos. the front desk staff was not accomodating at all, the bed was so hard (like lying down on wood), and there was no breakfast
