A bit far from town centre Excellent breakfast. Staff very attentive and helpful, though understanding english not too good. Dont order coffee by the pool. Very expensive.

Excellent hotel in a great place. A swimming pool to help wash away the heat and pace of Ho Chi. Definitely recommend to anyone staying in Ho Chi.

I can say that was a bit expensive for the room size and facilities, but the service was FANTASTIC. Really the service staff made that stay wonderful, so careful about little details. Restaurant great, and quite cheap, just room a bit small would be my only complain. Location is not the middle of the city, but just 10 min. walk to Ben Than market.

Conveniently located this hotel is a great base for exploring Vietnam. The tour desk is very good, the staff pleasant and helpful and the pricing reasonable. The food is adquate. If there is a small critisim it is the lack of options with regard to bedding. My wife and I found the pillows too hard and thick but they didn't have any alternative. Uncomfortable bedding leads to poor sleeping and this can detract from an otherwise pleasant experience.

Not a very good location too difficult to get anywhere from here, over priced for what it was and my room smelt very badly of cigarette smoke. The breakfast was okay. Not impressed.

Discotheque located in the hotel on 2nd floor. No sleep until after midnight especially on weekend. Early in the morning at 5am people came in to claen up discotheque, dragging furniture around ... again no sleep ! During day time, when there is a function on 1st floor banquet hall, also noise ... noise. Did not enjoy my stay at all.

Very good location close to Saigon central attractions and the "tourist area". Very good buffet breakfast and very nice staff. Refreshing swimming pool on third floor.

The swimming pool was a must. The staff were so friendly. This is an excellent 3 star hotel. The resturant is 5 star. Food awesome. The comp breakfast is just vast. So many choices for any tast. Great for families this hotel. They just can't do enough to make your stay in Saigon a pleasure

Very good location, close to central attractions and the "tourist area". Very good buffet breakfast. The swimming pool at the third floor allows for a good start of the day before breakfast.

I would thoroughly recommend the Metropole as a centrally located and well priced hotel. the rooms are not large but are well appointed. The pool and bar are excellent and the staff are very helpful.

Had a brief but excellent stay. Good location, walking distance to the shopping action etc. Very nice staff, hotel standard high. The only cheek was they charge for in-room internet. Overall, good value.

Good all round hotel for a city break! Nice recently refurbished modern rooms, good service, good level of English for foreign tourists. Location in District 1 is excellent, walking distance to bars and restaurants and to market. We booked a private day tour to the tunnells through them and had an excellent guide whose English and knowledge could not be faulted (although I think we paid considerably higher than you could would with one of the many available tour agencies). But cannot complain! Note that HCMC is a busy busy city with alot of traffic....ask for a room facing the back of the hotel....totally silent compared to the hectic outside noise! Small pool with minimal space for sun bathing.

On the third floor is a night club and the noise is incredible. The drums make the walls shake making sleep difficult
