Very helpful friendly and considerate, an excellent location for arriving in Paris at Gare du Nord, not too close to the unfriendly streets immediately around the station, but still very close, less than 2 minutes walk off the main street. We had a great stay and would love to be back there now.

Excellent: Very close to Gare du Nord. Very clean bathroom. Breakfast was good. Poor: 2 out of 3 in the reception did NOT speek english. They washed all towles every day - not good for the enviroment! There was no internet.

i stayed at the hotel for 3 nights.. the rooms are quite small but cousy, the bathroom is alright only that there wasnt a courtain for the shower,so we always had a small pool in our bathroom. breakfast is till 10 or something so if you are a long-sleeper.. its not really worth getting up for + it isnt included in the price anyway. the location- if you are looking forward to get out at nights it really sucks. the good thing is the gare du nord station from where you can easily take the metro to anywhere you want. but really, its a bit far away from everything except montmatre and the sacre coeur. overall its ok, one goes to paris to see the dif places, not to stay in the hotel all day long anyways so for the price its worth it. enjoy :)

Hotel very good generally but strange knocking on our door in the early morning (around 2am) two or three times on two out of three nights was very annoying. We never found out who it was but it stopped on the third night after we complained. Great location, close to Gare du Nord, Sacre Couer, Monmatre and a great 30 minute walk down to the Seine. Lots of cafes nearby and a late night general store across the road.

Hotel trop bryant, bruits extérieurs et bruits venant de l'hotel. Petit déjeuner minimum (qualité et quantité)

The hotel was exactly as described although the map & directions were not helpful at all and I spent a lot of time trying to find it.

Well it was an average hotel; nothing remarkable or outstanding about it. One thing I would like to comment on would be the neighbourhood - certainly not the quietest or most pleasant one: noisy and run-down. I would recommend another hotel if staying in the beautiful city of Paris.

The location of the hotel was good as it was only a short walk from Gard du Nord/Metro. The hotel room did not have air condition so may not be a good choice in the summer. Overall, the price paid for the room was good value.

I loged at the Metropol with my girlfriend. Comparing the cost of living of Spain and Paris, the price is well worth to what is offered. It`s a nice, decent and clean place to stay for just enough-budget travelers. The Staff is friendly and helpful all the time. The neighborhood is ok but anything less would cross the red line.

The bloody place is old and needs refurbishing. The lift is too small for 2 people. The bathroom is small and there is not even a curtain at the shower area.. so the whole bathroom gets wet when you bathe. The whole freaking room has only one electric plug point near the outside of the bathroom door. You cant even iron clothes as there is no space near the plug point. There aint any minibar.. 3 stars they call it.. Its a joke.

The room was a little cramped however it was kept very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good for 7 euros. Close to places to eat and the main train. Our stay was quite comfortable and we would stay at that hotel again

The hotel is advertised to have car park but they send you a car park 3 streets down where you need to leave your car keys. Parký-ing is a big problem. The hotel may be rated as two stars only.
