All as advertised. Great location for CBD and transport. Strange shape of room (long and thin) with no view my only complaint... still good for price!

Stay there last year for a weekend, great location, but the room we were given was very small by any standard and it was dark with a tiny window facing the rear of the hotel. Hardly any room to walk on either side of the double size bed and we had to watch the TV sitting on the bed as the room chair was to close to the TV. The room dcor was plain and unwelcome. I stay in this hotel whenever I am visiting Sydney. It is a good location and pricing is good. The rooms have no real view, usually a light well or a back view across the top of adjavcent buildings unless you get a street front room, but then there is the monorail outside. On business this is OK. The layout ans size of rooms can be variable.

Small rooms, but well located. Restaurant breakfast was not that great. Close to train station and monorail. Good for the price.

Very average hotel, except for the reception and customer service, which was well below average. Adjacent to a boring, always empty restaurant/bar where you can get drinks in paper cups to enjoy in your hotel room.

The hotel was clean and compact, excellent if you are in Sydney on business. Quiet but a view of an un-plastered brick wall and 10 to 15 minutes walk to Darling Harbour not brilliant for tourists but compensates with a competitive room rate and close to public transport. One thing to note if you plan on using the in room safe you have to ask reception for a key to activate it which was probably more applicable for when there used to be a charge to use this service mentioned in the out of date hotel information book in the room. The only little niggles I had which I believe to be common across all hotels in Sydney now is the competitive cost cutting such that shampoo and soap dispensers are fixed so no little handy sashays to take away and the introduction of a $100 refunded deposit when checking in.

I had a 6th floor room facing Pitt St. Late night noise coming from nearby pubs etc. was annoying on a couple of nights (the room wasn't well insulated from noise). Other than that the stay and service was excellent.

a convenient and friendly hotel that meets most budget constraints. Breakfast is expensive but there are a multitude of options within walking distance.

If you enjoy sleeping in an oversized coffin this is the hotel for you! The hotel is clean and situated right in the middle of the CBD, so if you only need a bed for the night it's fine. But if you like coming back to your hotel room to sit back and relax after a big day forget it - it's way too depressing being cooped up in a room that you can't swing a cat in! This has to be the smallest hotel room we have ever stayed - we won't be staying there again.

A good choice location wise but was dissapointed with the level of cleanliness maintained. Make-up room service was fine for the first night but completely opposite on my second night. Was informed new bedsheets were not changed daily. Would stay at other hotels at this price.

After reading the reviews on this website I wonderered what my room would be like but was very happy with. The bathroom was in excellent shape and room very clean. Yes, not the largest room I've ever booked but don't let that deter you-excellent location. I would stay here again and recommend it as well.

3 night stay. Arrived early . Bags held in storage until return for check in. Room clean and quiet. Housekeeper dealt willing and quickly with providing a missing dressing gown. Late Check Out was easily arranged with Reception who also organised transport to Airport. Only problem was final bill included someone else's items but these were removed without any fuss. Our second stay at this hotel. Would stay again as convenient for getting around Sydney and reasonably priced.

I found it to be a very clean, tidy and comfortable establishment. And very conveniently located in Sydney city.
